UPDATE 4/13/16 6:04PM Went in and spoke to manager. She said most likely the hot box temperature was too high. Other locations Ive used this method to order had my food waiting and ready right when they said they would. It makes me wonder how long it had been sitting in there. Will not go to this location again. Original Review 4/13/ 130ishpm Used the App Let me first say I have Chipotle on average 2, 3 times a week. Ive used the app/online ordering at multiple locations. I placed my order around 9am for pick up at 1245. It took about 5 minutes to get my food, after I checked in. Took it back to work and opened it... It looked like they made it 9am. My lettuce looked really old, brown, wilted and see through. I get the heat probably did that to it. My sour cream was cruddled and looked really disgusting. Once again Im sure it was the heat, but its still un acceptable. I will no longer be going to this location which makes me sad because its the only one in Elk Grove and I LOVE CHIPOTLE. I work at a local middle school/high school and have always spoke highly of Chipotle but I will be sure to tell the staff about my experience so they dont go through the same.

I love Chipotle. Their food is great quality, and they give you a generous portion. When i first started to go to Chipotle, the portion sizes were slightly larger because they gave you more meat. I always get the burrito bowl, and the food used to make a small mountain that they would have to crush when they put on the lid. Nowadays the mountain is pretty much level with the rim of the bowl. But its still enough to feed you. And as for the lines, i can see why theyre so long. What Chipotle needs is a drive-thru. After all, it wasnt meant to be a 5 star restaurant. So if theyre going the route of fast food burritos, then they might as well add a drive-thru to alleviate some of the heavy traffic from inside. They could be like In n Out: another place that makes its food fresh, but serves it fast food style.

Like many on this thread, I have experienced the incredibly slow speed of this Chipotle. Love Chipotle in general, hate this one. I can order on the app for any other Chipotle in my area, but not for this one. When you order from the website for this Chipotle, the wait times will NEVER be less than two hours, but for any other its between 20-30 minutes. The speed they work, youd think it was the French Riviera during the height of tourist season. Its not. Its fast food. Good fast food, but come one, speed it up! Call and ask them about placing a phone order and they just say "no." Theyre too busy, they say. OK, victim of your own success? Great, count me out; Ive switched to another Chipotle thats a 15 minute drive (versus 5 for this one) and 400% faster at making my order.

My son and I do not get to go out much. He asked me if we could go to Chapotle. We had not been there in months, because the prices are high and the service is slow, and rude workers. I always order a chicken bowl when I do go. The chicken was burnt. Not charred, but burnt. It was so gross. Every bite you took was awful . Even my son said we should have gone to Wing stop. They where out of lemons and she said they could not cut any more. I went to tell them about the chicken and they could care less. I am a single mom on disability so for me it is to expensive and overcooked . I wish I could leave no stars. Oh,,,,, and the ridiculous price on avocados . For that tiny scoop that you get, not worth it. SMH

I know the servers are trained to move through the line quickly, and keeping cilustomers waiting is frowned upon, but slow down. You throw everything on before I can even say how I want it. And even when I do say easy on something, you still put way too much. Today, chicken was thrown on my veggie bowl before I could even say anything. I didnt even say chicken. I dont appreciate being asked if I want something specifically in assuming anticipation and hastiness, before I get a chance to tell you what I want. This is a consistent habit of not listening, and moving through the bar way too fast. However, I do appreciate the California State Parks fundraiser, and that is why we ate at Chipotle today.

Theres no way these "Excellent" reviews are real. This is by far the worst Chipolte Ive been to, of course the foods good, its good at all of them. But the service is the worse Ive ever experienced. The line is always long, and moves at a snails pace. Youll stand and wait for a minimum of 30 minutes. They will completely stop the line to fill To Go orders. Theres always plenty of people on staff working, but there not working. Just walking around. UGH!!!! We need another Chipolte in this area, I prefer to drive the 8 miles to the Freeport Chipolte then EVER go to this one again.

AWESOME>>>>>AWESOME>>>AWESOME!!! Since I play in a band and I travel all over the world and see all kinds of people. I really enjoyed my time in line and listening to all the stories as I waited for the most epic burrito ever tasted!! First time at this location and was greeted by a tall beautiful woman with a smile and a can do attitude!! I was having an okay day at this point but her smile made me realize life is simple and we need more people like her around!! Thank you Chipoltle and the tall girl with the great smile for a less stressful ride north!!

I was there last week, the one on Laguna Blvd, along with my daughter and her husband. My son in law is a United States Marine, we asked the girl at the check out if they did Military discount? She told us the only way we could get the discount is if he was in uniform, well for your information, Marines are NOT allowed to wear the uniform out and about. We even showed the cashier his ID Marine card with photo ID, and she still wouldnt honor him!! Unbelievable!!! We will never step foot in your establishment again!

WOW this place has gone downhill. Frequently dont have ingredients prepared, soda fountain empty, no longer allow you to get your own fork or spoon, and a judgey parental sign that reads "dont get in hot water: please dont fill your water cup with soda." Not to mention the service is incredibly slow now. The bathroom is under code lock like some kind of interstate side gas station. In one year youve managed to go from the hip place to eat, to a judgey cafeteria.

I always bring my children to eat those delicious bowls, but the food just doesnt taste the same, maybe if I ordered something else like a chicken quesadilla itd taste good. I noticed that it was burnt and I couldnt get it out of the aluminum foil. Im asking myself, why? Then I realized that most of the employees at this chipotle are Trumpunzees. Yep...I never seen a white guy wash his hands with soap and water much less cook Mexican food. Smh.
