This shop is a "diamond in the rough". Ive read good reviews here, and I thought I would give Encinitas Auto Body a try instead of the ones the insurance company recommended. They provide excellent service as everyone seems to agree here. They are kind of hidden behind the Coast Hwy and their shop is not much to look at, but it is the end result that counts. I brought my car in, because my car was scratched and dented by another car. I have taken my car to other auto shops in the past, but I find that Encinitas Auto Shop is one notch above any of the other shops in their attention to detail and their customer treatment. Small shops, like this one, do seem to care more about their work.

Take your car here! I have a BMW 5 Series which I have seriously abused traveling cross country, camping, as a surf rig, and as my daily driver. It had more dents, dings, scratches and scrapes than I care to think about. No more. The guys at Encinitas Auto Body fixed them all perfectly, on time and for the amount they quoted, and the car now looks like it just rolled off the show room. I shopped around too, and the price was much better than anywhere else in town. Do yourself a favor and just go here.

My wife and I were very happy with the work done on our truck. The other places we solicited bids from wanted to do a lot of work that we didnt feel was necessary. Dave worked with us to do what was essential and therefore cost effective. The result is very high quality work for the things that we felt were important. The work was completed very quickly as well. We would use this shop again and recommend them highly.

Just a note to say "thank you" to Dave for restoring my faith in auto repair shops. It IS possible to find someone who deals fairly and honestly with you! This is the second time Ive visited Encinitas Auto Body. I received the same courteous, informative treatment both times - coupled with good communication. Might I also mention that this time they actually brought the repair in under the amount they quoted to me?

The only body shop that actually listened to what I wanted, and offered a fair estimate (everyone else insisted I needed more work at a much higher cost). These guys are laid back and cool, and they do great work. Id give them more then 5 stars if I could. Final price was exactly = to estimate. Amount of time it took to fix was fine. Thumbs up.

This guy is pure class. I showed him some scratches on my car and he said that I probably didnt need to fix it since it was a lease and they probably would let it go on a trade in. That strategy worked beautifully and I saved hundreds of dollars. How many auto body shops would actually tell you this kind of information? Awesome.

Nothing short of fantastic for my experience with Dave and his crew. Bumpers look great and the chipped door handle and door look like they came out of the factory. The price was right and the service was great! Support the local guys who have been painting cars for years.

I was treated great at this shop. He went so far as to recommend not getting something fixed! When is the last time that happened at a body shop? Entirely pleasant experience. I felt like Dave had my best interest at heart.
