Im currently looking for an alignment on my car, but Im skipping this place. let me sharre my experiace, this happened a while back at this Gilroy location. i took in a flat tire for repair (tire was already off the vehicle), they told me it would take about a half hour at most. Half hour goes by and I go check in, the tire hasnt been touched. Stuff happen sure, they could have overlooked the single tire sure, I understand. So I let them know, simple reminder, and yes, they are somewhat rude. but they told me they will take care of it right away. I come back an hour later thinking it would be done and it still hasnt been touched. I go back in to tell them and the guy is seems bothered that Im reminding. it almost seemed they were being spiteful because i kept reminding them about my tire. end the end it tool over 3 hours to get it done. That Yellow place down the street charges half for tire repairs and they are fast. dont believe me? call them for prices and compare. Theres other places people... avoid this place

I have bought my tires from Wheel Works in Santa Clara with great service. I made a call today to get 4 new tires put on my car base on a web sale offered by wheel works. I called the LG store by mistake and got a fair price for tires. When I arrived at the Gilroy location the sales person there said that all he could do for me was sell me the 4 tires at another sales price. I asked him to call the LG store to confrim the price and he said he could not. I asked him to check the web site for the sale price again he said "NO" that he does not have internet service here. I asked how do you know what is on sale then, he then told the price is the price. My mistake for going to Gilroy to get this type of service. The only way to get this fixed is not to buy your tires from this location. BAD SERVICE, shame on Wheel Works for having these type of employees.

Never really had poor service before the last visit, but heres what happened. 1. Called at 11:00 on a Saturday to get an estimate to have front brakes done and was told, "If you can get here before 1:00, you wont have to leave it here all day; should only be an hour and a half." Didnt get the car back until 8:00 PM. If it was going to take all day, I would have been fine either coming in another day, but dont LIE about it. Just lost a customer. 2. This was the second time that I have brought a vehicle in for some type of service other than tire service and a mysterious nail appears in the sidewall - of course - where replacement of the tire is necessary. Im not sure of anything, but I just think its a little fishy that this happened at the same shop twice.

Ive been going there for about 10 years or so. They earned my return business by staying open late one night to fix a flat tire that I had. Ive never had an issue with them for the longest time. Their prices arent the best but I felt that they deserved my business based on the level of service that I had received. The last time that I brought my car in for new tires though has me on the fence. It took nearly four hours to put on new tires. I was told 2 hours so I decided to wait. Im wondering if they are under new management. Im really surprised at the low ratings. If I had to base my rating on my last visit it would be 1-1/2 to 2 stars. But Ill be fair and rate them on my total experience. 3.5 stars.

I dont normally review, but im annoyed by this one....Appointment for alignment. Alignment rack was empty for an hour, and they put a car on it ahead of mine(rack was not being fixed, and align tech has been there). People seem nice, but thats all. Had 3 studs cross threaded and broke and they were the last to work on them. Had an alignment checked after they had done the alignment and toe on both fronts were in the red by 40. Was wondering why inside of front tires were wearing so bad. Not sure if just bad techs or just making business for themselves. Still waiting for alignment, just make sure you have their work rechecked by another shop, usually free, if you decide to go here.

Very simple, straight forward, and cheaper than American Tire or Costco. 4 new tires, safety inspection, and alignment check all completed within the promised 1 hour, and I didnt even have an appointment. Thanks to Carlos especially for taking care of this for me. All the reviewers complaining about rudeness, I wonder what exactly happened. Maybe you were just stressed because you dont like dealing with car trouble and you overreacted to a person trying to do an underpaid days work who didnt feel like kissing your ass? Or not. But probably.

I have been going to wheel works gilroy for about 8 years for my Toyota sienna and vw passat. I buy tires, have the oil changed, brakes done, water pump replaced etc. John at the front desk is great - calls to follow up etc. sometimes I wait and use the wifi and for longer jobs I go home and Pick up in the afternoon. Do love that they close at 7pm! They are slow sometimes - only 4 bays and they are busy. Great service and I will keep going! Cheaper than the dealer!

I dislike going here. I wish we would not have purchased our tires from this Wheel Works location. The place is uncomfortable to wait in, the coffee is cold and stale, and I just shutter inside knowing that I will soon have to return to get the tires rotated. Today, I have to go back and get the tires balanced again because they did not get it right the first time when I was there last week. Really?

Called for an appointment to rotate my tires and alignment and was told to come in at three. Two and half hours later I get the car back. This happens every time I bring it in. Always overbook. Last time they didnt give back the wheel locks and told me it was my fault. Going to American Tire. Less hassle and same price.

with all the bad reviews. WHY would i even think to go to this place? Not going to bother there are many shops around that have better ratings. Good Luck with that Business. try being a little more welcoming, maybe that would help. just a thought, so costumers feel welcomed. OH theres an idea WHEEL WRECKS i mean works

I brought my car in to have the tires changed. Then I get a call saying that I need a new axle, new breaks with the tires. I had my car completely tuned up a week ago and everything was fine. They tried to charge me almost $2000. Thieves. Im never bringing my car there again.
