Just a month before my wedding day, my hair/make up artist decided to move out of state and I was left wondering what to do. Thankfully, I met Amber through some friends and was thrilled to hear she not only had experience doing wedding hair but loves to do it! In just a month, Amber made time for a cut, color, wedding hair run through and, of course, my hair on the big day! Not only did she accommodate my schedule (with what little spare time one has a month before their wedding!), she made me feel like a special bride should. I was always greeted with treats and drinks and on the big day a chilled bottle of champagne along with fruit and brie was delivered just for my maid of honor and I! Not to mention, she was available for my maid of honor so she could have her hair done as well. Amber listens to what you are looking for but also knows how to improvise when given few details - which was great for me because I wasnt very specific and she gave me a cut/color that fit me perfectly. She didnt mind the company either, as my mother and other friends and family poked in to take pictures and check out the hair-do :) Every experience I had with Amber was very professional and I dont think I could have gotten any luckier - she went above and beyond to make me feel special! I felt like part of the family with her and Aprils company throughout the journey :) I highly recommend DanaeMaries Salon & Boutique. Amber and April are talented, ambitious, and will make sure you are completely satisfied with their work.

Lisa is amazing!!! To start with, she really listens to you and respects what you want to be done. I have long hair and have gone to other salons that have cut off way more than I asked for, but with Lisa she always listens and I am always overjoyed with the outcome!!! She is such a friendly and welcoming person. It is completely enjoyable to sit there with her. She is fun to talk to and sweet, and it makes for a great experience all around. I will definitely be going to her in the future whenever I need something done with my hair.

Amber has been cutting my hair for the past four years. I always love the way I feel after I have my hair done by her. The first time I got a scalp massage I was hooked. It leaves my head feeling refreshed and happy! She always does a great job and I feel like I always get compliments after it is freshly cut. I have never had my hair colored or bleached or anything, but she seems to be an expert at that as well. Give Danaemaries a try and I am sure you will be happy!

This new place is awesome. I was really excited to hear Amber and April opened up their own salon. Downtown GV just got a little better! Amber is great. I live in SF but I still get my hair done with her when Im in town, shes really good about fitting me in last minute. Shes always done a really good job with my hair and shes super nice, too. :)

Just got my first "real" cut in 10 years. I usually try to just buzz my hair all the same length and call it a day. I finally decided to go in and get a real cut. Amber was awesome and knew exactly what to do with my hair to make it fit me and look good. Ill definitely be going back and telling all my friends/family about this Salon.

LISA IS AMAZING!! I have had some horrible hair dressers and Lisa is simply wonderful. She is sweet and does an amazing job. I had a cut and color with her last week and plan to make the trip from Foresthill to see her. I hope she never leaves!

Amber is a Scissor Star! Im SUPER fussy about my hair, it HAS to be perfect. Until I found Amber I would always have to touch up my cut when I got home, not anymore! Love it!

I went to a competing salon and the stylist butchered my hair! Lisa saved my cut and it is so cute and stylish! I love it and Im so glad I met Lisa!
