Terrible experience and dishonesty. I took my car in for an A/C checkup as I had driven from Georgia to California I felt as if my A/C had lost performance (warmer than previous). Before taking it in, I measured my air temperature at 77F and 68F, when starting the car or at a stop and when driving the vehicle, respectively. After agreeing to conduct a checkup with Marcelos for 40usd, he advised to do an additional job that consisted of an evacuation and resupply of freon w a dye and would cost 150usd. I agreed after having a long discussion about the high probability of a consistent temperature of 67F. We went forward with the expense and afterwards I did not notice any temperature difference with my temperature probe (I also tested it on another vehicle and distinguished the difference and effective of my temperature probe). Nevertheless, the temp was higher than before, at 80C. I told the mechanic but he just insisted on the car being exposed to the heat for too long and to drive it around. So I did. Drove it around and even left it under the shade and nothing, no change. So I returned to give Marcelos the update and he refused to accept any responsibility and said to think about the high outside temperature and other factors were to be considered, such as replacing the compressor for a whopping 1500usd. In another words, snowball effect of costs without guarantees. A warning to all do not take your car to this place. Just do some research, learn about the components of your car, its mechanisms, and do it yourself. Go to thr local auto shops and buy the parts and ask the employees as they as also usually work on their own cars at home.

Consumer warning! My daughter took her car to IV auto in March 2015 for A/C repair. They said the compressor was leaking so they changed it for $900. A few months later the A/C failed again and when she took it back to IV auto they claimed it was not due to the work they had performed. It is now June 2016 she brought the car to me and I looked over the paperwork and noticed there is a 24 month or 24,000 mile warranty. The mileage at the time of repair March 2015 was recorded at 78,400 miles. It just so happened I did an oil change on her car the same month and I had recorded her mileage at 97,600. Yesterday I took her car to a mechanic that I trust. He showed me that the compressor was leaking, which was the same diagnosis IV auto had given my daughter. It is going to be another $800 to fix it. Because of the fact that the mileage was recorded as being more than 20,000 less than it really was, I tend to believe this was fraud. So be careful when doing business with this company.

Fair and honest pricing. From the owner, to the manager down to the techs, they all are good people. Honest and fair, theyll tell you really whats wrong and work hard to find you the part, not the entire assembly, needed to finish the job within your Budget. True advise that’s useful to plan for your next round of service. I highly recommend them to all of my friends & family besides, I bring all four of my cars to these guys. Bought some tires off of Amazon and scheduled the service for IV Goodyear to put the tires on through Amazon (you can do that now!). The shop didnt try to charge me anything extra, and it all went smoothly. The shop has a waiting room that has about 8 chairs in it, a bunch of magazines, and a television. For my two tire install (I was a walk in), I waited a little over an hour. The guys at the desk were good - Hispanic guy with the goatee was loud and plenty friendly.
