Worst customer service experience of my life!! BE WARNED I’ll say this I’m not sure if the work they do is good or bad compared to other places…but the customer service is TERRIBLE. Read the other reviews listed here on Yelp…see all the ones warning about the attitude and lack of customer care?...they are totally and completely accurate! I thought, “well it won’t be like that for me.” WRONG. Take it from me…STAY AWAY! Take your hard earned money somewhere else and help a business owner who actually knows the value of respecting customers. I’m not even mad at how much I paid…I’m pissed that a single cent when to this establishment. To start it off, it was clear that the receptionist had no idea what was going on as she had to call the owner about every, single little question. To the point that, when she asked one of the mechanics over to help answer a question, he rolled his eyes and shook his head in frustration at her three times because she “wasn’t getting it.” Even their own employees see how useless she is. It’s actually almost sad. And the owner…what a piece of work! Not only was she curt on the phone, she took it as a personal insult that I was asking so many questions about what exactly she was recommending and how much each cost. And when I called to get clarification on what they had or hadn’t already started so I could budget accordingly I was met with an abrasive voicemail message telling me to “pick up my car immediately.” Upon arriving to pick it up and pay I was fully attacked. The owner took my credit card but wouldn’t actually run it until she “made me listen first” and yelled at me for 5 straight minutes. Even when I told her to stop and to just charge me so I could leave she kept going. Personally, I do not need to be spoken to that way or held hostage so someone can verbally attack me. I find behavior like this to be completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I love Long Beach and pride myself at going to little mom & pop shops…but I see no value in an owner like this staying in business.

I went here to get my VW Jetta checked out. They were extremely helpful and fully diagnosed my car which had problems with evap leak and the secondary air pump, and they found a number of other things I wasnt aware of. Unfortunately it wasnt worth repairing because it was such an old car, but they didnt charge me a dime for looking at it. Its too bad that I dont have a VW now because I would 100% go back to them. This is a really good place, they are honest people who look out for their customers!

Just had some work done at West Coast and everything was exceptional. I brought my GTI in partially torn down and they finished the work I started, changed out the timing belt, water pump, oil change, and few other things. All that and they got it out by the end of the day. To top it off everyone was really friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Suspect business model. no reservations accepted, cash only, just first come first served. many individuals as a result of employment, etc. do not have that flexibility. As i was waiting to speak to the mamager she turned two others away, me being the third. i suspect they will not return. i certainly will not.

I called earlier today and asked if I could get an estimate (needing clutch/timing chains) and the person who answered the phone responded with a fast "no I dont have time" and quickly got me off the phone. Definitely know where I am not taking my business lol.

Because I went over a about 13-20 miles on valve adjustments maintenance needed, my 5yr or 50000 mile warranty was void. after paying for a rebuilt on my 1600cc motor...bad business...and overpriced.

These folks are extremely helpful, do not talk to you like you are an idiot and beat dealer prices. Highly recommended.
