Several Sundays ago, my car experienced an anxiety producing tire noise on the freeway coming from the westside to Pasadena. Late in the day, I went over to Firestone and although they were backed up the two people that helped me were supreme and went over the top to help. First the young (pretty) lady at the front desk, smiled and went out to the car, and I explained my problem. She graciously said she would have her mechanic look at it after he was finished on another major project but that they could not do any repairs that day, if needed.. 6 PM came, and the mechanic was finished with his project. He offered to drive my car and test it. When I said - its after your work day - RACE, his name, could not be nicer. He said it is important that you be safe. We drove the car, and thereafter, he put it up on the rack - now going into 6:30PM and he showed and explained the problem to me. He assured me it was safe to get back to the Westside - and for this peace of mind, I was truly grateful. These two young, concerned and very diligent and gracious workers for Firestone - were more than terrific.

They always try to rip off my wife. Overtorqued her oil plug and made her pay $200 to replace the oil pan. They said it was cuz it was "soft Aluminum" which is not metal. Uhh..Aluminum IS a metal. Last week, took my wifes car in. Said new brakes would be done in an hour or 2. Waited till the end of the day (7 hrs later) to tell me it was going in and the rotors looked fine and had plenty of metal to resurface. Then after I ask if they tested the car, they said no...but now the rotor are bad and I need to pay $200 for new rotors as well! i was like, you just said they were fine, now they are not?! I told them to forget about it. i took it to another place around the corner and they gave me a better price and saw that the rotors were well within spec. I was done by 6:15PM with new brakes, resurfaced rotors, and 4 wheel alignment all for $200 at Discount Tires Center. My wife will NEVER go back there. Id rate it a Zero if I could. Even the Acura shop knew they were lying and the rotors were within spec. They just costs too much.

Firestone @ 1110 East Colorado Boulevard, Pasadena, CA on Sat 1/9/2010 Provided Quality Service. PROS: 1) A lot of info on their site makes researching their tires easy; 2) Coupons available online 3) Online quote for tires is cheaper, so print that out when you go in; 4) called in the morning and spoke to Narek who answered my questions, and he was PATIENT, KIND, PROFESSIONAL & KNOWLEDGEABLE. CONS: 1) They offered services to clean my battery, change my filter, and do my alingnment, but that is not why I went their. I knew they would offer me something, and I knew in advance that I would tell then not to worry about it. Yes, I have gone in for oil changes at other Firestone shops and did not like those services and the quality of the job, but I do not do that anymore. These guys specialize in tires, that is what I wanted from them, and that is what I got.

Performed major maintenance service on my 1999 Subaru Outback including: tune up, tire rotation and alignment, fuel system flush and filter, oil change, transmission flush, new belts, new battery, etc.... Vic was very professional and got my discounts whenever available for the service. Vehicle ready on time and service done correctly. I recommend them.

These guys are amazing! George was so knowledgeable over the phone that gave me more confidence than I got speaking to the "Boys" across the street. And, when John called me with his diagnosis he had tested, found and explained everything I had asked for. The diagnostic fee is $10 more than their competitor but worth every penny! Thanks guys!

Did an alignment and car was still pulling to the right, they didnt test drive it and they take forever to take it in.. Update: took it in again for another alignment and they dont ever get the alignment right the first time, had to bring it in again, waste another 2 hours just so they can fix their mistake...

Too much of pressure to buy additional stuff and extra maintenance. All I wanted is an oil change but they try to sell everything else by giving me quotes. I thought its only me who feels so but looking at the reviews, every body does think so. I wouldnt go there again.

Too much pressure to get new tires when all I wanted was an oil change. Took them an 1 1/2 hours because they were looking for ways to up-sell me.
