This place sucks. Confusing signage. Rushed. Service writer ignored my question about two services and told me I needed a third option upsell. I started to move my stuff to the trunk and they shooed me away. I asked if I needed to move my stuff and they said no. Btw, rip off $20+tax for one wash. Poor signage led me to believe it was 3/$20 (Whatta deal!), I told cashier, she said, "Yeah, the signs are confusing." Hello, customer service opportunity: missed. Car came out with dust and dirt still all over it, after hand towel dry. Also, noticed many scratches on my drivers door after this, maybe they used abrasive towel, no idea. Looked as if it hadnt been vacuumed at all. Crumbs all over seat and messy carpets throughout, messy cup holders, console, and trunk. Car is three months old; should be obvious and easy to clean it. After I left and started noticing the messes, I called. Woman was short with me and told me come back and talk to José, service writer. Came back, and other guy said, "We have all these people behind you!" I showed him the dirt and messes. He said, "You had a ton of stuff in there!" I said, "I asked if I needed to move it and you told me no." They begrudgingly went over it, as if trying to get me out of there. He said it was done, I asked about trunk, he said, "I did it." I opened the trunk and obviously he hadnt touched it. So I stood beside him as he begrudgingly vacuumed it. To their credit, they are working very hard and it was a busy Sunday. But hello, if youre not washing cars, maybe change the business to "Auto Accessories & Gift Card Shop." And maybe its just me, but any place that has autographed headshots, especially in Los Angeles, (I dont care if the name is Red Carpet), comes off seeming more concerned with business owners ego and less so with the actual service sold. Worst car wash Ive ever experienced, all around.

Awful service, my car was just a little dirty from water marks and some dirt and I dropped my car off to get just the general car wash. It came out pretty wet and sat in the sun for about 10 minutes going untouched. Then once they finally dried it, it had just as many water marks as before. However this wasnt even the biggest issue. I walked up to my car only to discover numerous scratches all along the side and back of my car resulting from the wipers in the car wash. I showed the manager and he resisted to admit what they had done and tried to claim that I had scraped bushes on every side of my car and thats what the scratches were from. This may be a reasonable excuse if I drove a regular car but I own a lifted truck and if bushes were really that high we would have bigger issues. So in result I went there looking just for a simple car wash and left with a dirty, scratched up car. Terrible car wash and terrible management.

A few years ago, Red Carpet was an excellent, attentive car wash that I used fairly regularly, mostly because it was a true hand wash business. In late 2005 or early 2006, they installed an automatic system of rollers and tumblers (the kind that really know how to scratch up a paint job), and from there the service went down. They did away with the "club card" point system, and of course in the process raised the prices. The last 3 times I was there, I purchased the exterior package which includes tire dressing, only not to receive the application. Dont even bother purchasing the packages that offer vacuuming... I dont think the vacuum hose actually touched the floor the last time I bought the package. Bring back the handwash service and adhere to the advertized package applications and I might come back, otherwise there are a few other really good car washes up and down PCH that are better in quality and price.

Signed up for a monthly plan and first couple visits went ok, though I didnt feel I was getting my $ worth considering the $50/month. Then on the 3rd visit They did such a horrible job I ended up cleaning most of my truck myself. They didnt even bother wiping the dash, the windows were still dirty and their were water spots all over. I also dont like that they put the tire dressing on last, not giving it a chance to dry before you drive away resulting that stuff all over the sides of your vehicle. Cancelled my plan and will continue the search for a quality car wash. Try at your own risk. Take a look around your car before you tip!

i went there on saturday and bought the $49.99 wash/was deal for my Tundra. what a disappointment that was. i came into my truck to find the whole dash the same as when i brought the truck in. they didnt even touch it. the windows were barely cleaned. the side steps were full of armor all. WTF? dont you morons know we have to step on these things and it creates a hazard? my wife already fell once be cause of this. even if you tell them not to use armorall on your tires and steps, they still do it. i have been a customer for over 10 years. this is the last time you take my money.

These guys make me crazy. After the wash part, they drive your wet car onto the lot and it sits unattended forever...even when theyre not that busy. Given that I have a black car, the dried water spots look awful and do not simply wipe away 20 minutes later when someone finally gets to it. One time I got so mad watching my wet car bake dry in the sun that I finally got up, dried off the car myself and drove away. Not one person came over to see if they could help and/or apologize for the terrible service. I will never go back but Ill sure miss their beautiful koi pond.

Wow, I see many bad reviews on here... Ive been using them for about a month now.. I go just about every day because I drive uberlux in a black 7 series... I have to say this is one of the best car washes Ive been to, they do a great job, management is courteous and reaponsive... Im pretty picky about how the car looks, as Im in the livery business.... I havent had to point out anything to be redone... car is dried in a timely fashion... I dunno, I notice that most of these bad reviews are a bit old... new mgt maybe? I love these guys

I have been a customer since this Red Carpet opened and ALWAYS had superb service, until the las year or so. Last service I had it detailed and it was a "joke"! The time before that, the fella was so busy looking at every woman who walked past that he missed drying at least half of my cal! I dont know where the manager is but its time to wake him/her up and get back into some customer service! As for me.....Im gone! I have found another service and they are attentive to their customers.

Ive taken my black Ferrari F430 there twice, and there were MAJOR wax streaks on both occasions that I didnt notice until the next day. Plus they took forever to hand wash. One other thing, their website claims they close at 5.30pm but they actually close at 5.00pm. My friend went there based upon the site, arrived at 5.10 only to find it was closing down. The guy he spoke to, just gave him a blank stare when he told him their site said 5.30pm.
