We have been using Pentagon for 5 years now and the first 4 years were great --- its either they deliver on time or earlier than promised. This year, 2010 was very different. We sent two batches of boxes --- 1st batch of 3 boxes were picked up from us on Septmember and it was delivered on the 1st week of December. Our 2nd batch of 3 boxes (because we did not know that our 1st batch of boxes will take 3 months to deliver) were picked up from us in October; we were hoping to have them here in the Philippines by the time we arrive on the last week of December, but they still havent arrived as of today, January 5, 2011. We have been calling their new distributor here in PI, Total Line Logistics since December 28th and have been following up every other day and all they can tell us is that "there is still no advice date on when Customs will release the boxes and to try calling next week". I just called them again a while ago and they said to try to call this Friday and there maybe an advice date then on the release date. It has been a horrible experience, but I try to think about the earlier years that they were great. Im sure all the kababayans who sent their boxes hoping it would reach their families in time for Christmas were all disappointed; we woul all appreciate to be informed of ANY delays that is beyond the companys control. If they did that, it would have helped appease ALL whos experiencing these 3-month delays of box deliveries. Im still trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, should I or should I not use them again... well see...

Once a box enters the Philippines people from San Diego have no control. When you talk to them they appear very confident but in fact they have no idea where the boxes are or who is handling them. When they will be delivered. This company doesnt have a website. They do business as if they were in the Philippines, that is NO RULES, NO LAWS. The delivery time, if it happens, will be from 4 to 6 months. They continuously change the companies that deliver the boxes within the Philippines and most of them are BAD. Boxes have arrived wet and with holes. I lost one because they didnt change the delivery address/person. If you dont mind to loose what you send is OK to use this company; otherwise find another. Good luck!! Juan C. Gomez

This is the third time weve used their service... the first two were not great, but we didnt learn our lesson... and so we sent a third box, and to no surprise to us, they were so late. When i tried to call them, at exactly 5pm, they say on the recording that business hours are until 5:30 pm. but i always hear that i have reached them after business hours. What kind of business does this? i was also told that they will call me, they took my number but they didnt call. I have no issues if they say the delivery time will be 3 or more months, as long as they disclose it. They said 45 days, cashed my check immediately, however its been way over two months and the package has not been received yet.... sad!
