Wow! I cannot say enough great things about Extra Space Storage on Eddy Street, in Northridge! The premises are "clean as a whistle" and almost all units have drive up access (NO STAIRS!) and in addition to the reasonably priced insurance offered, each unit has its own separate alarm! The location is Safe, Secure and totally convenient! (Just west of Reseda blvd. south Nordhoff Street) The staff and particularly the manager; Jose are courteous and professional in every respect and they are good people who genuinely care about the welfare of their customers. Once when I fell behind due to a medical emergency I found them cooperative and helpful beyond expectation so I could meet my financial obligations there fairly and kindly like real human beings! They offer 1st month free like Public Storage -BUT that is where all similarities end! I have used several other storage companies in the past and let me assure you this place is by far heads and tails above all other storage companies I have encountered over the last 5 years! This is a place you can trust run by people you can count on and who care! Hey Everyone! This is the best of several storage facilities that I have tried over the years, especially in the San Fernando Valley. Ive been to one in Chatsworth, one in Van Nuys, and Palmdale among one or two others through business. They are on top of customer service and securing our "stuff" is held in high regard to the management at this location. They make sure everyone codes in/out and "knows" who belongs on the property. I frequent the location as I am going through my belongings currently and I have never seen anything out of place, meaning trash is picked up daily off the ground, and the property is very well maintained. They are courteous, helpful and pleasant as well. As I have been on the property sorting my stuff I have actually seen upper management come check the facility to make sure all is well, something I wish I would see more often in other businesses these days. Most definitely a recommend.

My husband and I Johnny were out looking at storages. It was a very stressful time for us. We look at a few places but we were just not happy. Then we came to Extra Space Storage in Northridge. The first thing we both notice was how very clean it was. Then we were greated by a big smile and a HELLO, that turns out to be the manager Jose. He took us around showing us units and we found the perfect size we needed, at a great price. Now we were smiling too. Jose went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed to pack right. With this being a hard time in our lives, Jose made this so pleasant that we forgot about being sad. We are very happy here and Jose how do you do it? This building is so very clean ;) Johnny and I thank you for taking the stress off of moving and turning it into a pleasant experience! Happy Customers, Johnny & Julie

I echo all that has been said before me. One suggestion that most likely relates to the corporate management and certainly not the operations staff at the location. THE KEY PAD TO ENTER THE FACILITY. When you drive in the Keypad is on the right side of the vehicle. So you need to exit the vehicle and walk around to key in your code. Why not have an overhead where you can drive up and key in your code from the drivers side. BAD DESIGN. Im still getting around at 75, but I am disabled. I also carry an umbrella in the car, but I shouldnt need to use it even when it rains, just to drive into your facility. If you expand your properties, try to hire a better architect. Other than that, nice job.

I have not encountered a better customer service department in a very long time. The company must provide training to direct the attention of the employees in a customer service oriented manner. Erik has assisted me through numerous obstacles and difficulties. The owner has gone the distance in customer-oriented decisions. I have to say that these are the people you want in your neighborhood, and that you want to give your business to. They have earned it, and deserve it. Im impressed with the service these guys give me, and how friendly and helpful they are. I dealt mainly with Jose, but everyone Ive met in the staff are very eager to please and inform, and I love the fact that the spaces are all on one level. The only thing Id like to see is them switch the punch-in keypads as you have to get out of your car on both sides to punch in and out, a weird oversight that I cant figure out that hasnt been fixed by now. Other than that, a great reasonably priced place to store.

Clean, secure, and friendly, Courtney and Jose always knew my name. They made themselves available to help me out whenever I needed. I would recommend these guys to all my friends. No worries about getting stuck with an upstairs unit, as all units are conveniently located at ground level for easy access. I had a 10 x 20 unit, and the price for my driveway accessible unit was less than the upstairs units at nearby locations, and I got the first month free.

I dont write reviews often unless theyre highly deserved. This place deserves it. Jose always answers my questions and Ive always felt good coming here. In my honest opinion, I can tell you if youre in the market for a storage in Northridge or in the valley area, I highly recommend you come here. The price is right, the service is right, the place is clean. No need to look around anywhere else.

Love this place so much !!! I actually moved all my storage spaces (3 of them) from somewhere else into this location. Jose Hernandez, the branch manager, is excellent, efficient and has been very helpful and will always go the extra mile to help out clients. Hes truly one in a million! I highly recommended this location.

Jose and Courtney are simply the best. Every time I walk in they know who I am. Theyre always nice and courteous. Very friendly and helpful. Simply the best. Any minor issue or problem Ive had theyve immediately helped resolve it quick and easy. I cant imagine going anywhere else they are that good.
