Considering the exorbitant cost of breathing and existing in Venice, I was super happy to find a 5x5 unit for a great price! Much less than anywhere else I got quotes for - esp if you check for specials first! And its located right in the heart of Venice, so its super convenient for anyone living or working in the area. Kevin, Gio, and Robin are great guys who will take excellent care of you and your belongings! Very helpful and professional! Check in was smooth and easy. The unit was spacious and clean. Even when it was blisteringly hot outside, the units were always kept at a comfortable temperature and I never worried about my belongings overheating or anything. I saw ZERO bugs, rats, mice, or anything of that sort during my 6 month stay. I was in an intensive educational program, so I threw all my stuff in storage while I was in class full time. Inevitably, I would need something from the storage unit, so I was in and out fairly often at various times of day and never had any issues. Even when it was blisteringly hot, the units were always kept at a comfortable temperature and I never worried about my belongings overheating or anything. So im quite comfortable vouching for both the safety and cleanliness/maintenance of this facility. The bathrooms have been recently remodeled. They are actually really nice and very clean!! Just bring your ID to the front desk and they will give you the key. I finally graduated a couple weeks ago and will be heading up to San Francisco for work. So Ive been running around trying to get myself ready for another big move and saved cleaning out the storage unit to the last minute. Unfortunately, I totally spaced and was one day off from my contract renewal (its month to month). Technically, I was now responsible for the FULL month of September. I was so angry at myself for not double checking and really freaked out because that would have seriously ruined my month - I needed the money to put towards gas for my move up north. Fortunately, the guys are super awesome and very helpful. Gio called the district manager or headquarters or something and saved the day! They didnt make me pay the full month! Considering it was like 10 minutes to closing on a Friday, he didnt have to do that. So that speaks volumes about these guys! They run an excellent facility! There are a couple of things that I should mention: 1. The facility is only open during the day from 9-6, inc sat and sun (you may want to double check those hours). But they made that very clear and made certain I was cool with it before I rented the unit. Its a neighborhood facility, so I dont think they are allowed to stay open later. 2. They lighting is eco-friendly and based on timers. You have to find the right timers for the lights you want to turn on, then you just twist the knob to set the time. I wish they were motion activated, but the timers are actually more eco-friendly, so no biggie! Just a heads up! Overall, this is a great facility that offers great prices, clean and secure storage, and highly professional service. If you find yourself needing some storage space in Venice, I highly recommend these guys! I hope my rather.... thorough.... review covered everything! Lulz! Ive shared this same review on Yelp and thought I should share it here as well. Kevin , the Manager, And the entire team Michael, Gio , Vernon staff at Venice Public Storage 315 4rh ave corner of Rose, are some of the bast people I have ever seen dealing with the public. Why do I say that? --not just from my personal experience , yet from my observation with others whenever I go by. Lets face it a lot of people are emotional when visiting their units and that includes the people who are financially well off as well as the people who are struggling .A lot of folks have time challenges - big ones, and other challenges --and Kevin and the team are always there to help them// almost like therapists or counselors. In a world where dealing with the public can harden people -- they manage as my friend Jon Batiste (Stephen Colbert Show band leader) would say Stay Human , which is the name of his band . Last but not least Kevin and his team are good/looking charming fellas . The Dude Abides yup that Dude who Jeff Bridges played in The Big Lebowski// an absurdist Holy Fool who tells it like it is. Moving is such a stressful experience but the staff at Public Storage Venice really made it easier on me. Kevin was great. He explained everything thing I was signing and all the policies and procedures perfectly. He was a pleasure to deal with and because of that, it really helped make things go super smooth. Being near Venice Beach, you get all kinds of characters that walk in. I even witnessed Kevin handle a customer who was rude, belligerent and making no sense at all. He handled it perfectly. The bosses would be very happy to see how he handled a potential powder keg. I rented a 10 x 15 The space was clean, well lit and has lots of security. Elevators are a little slow. Get on the first floor if you can!

Ive been storing in this location for a number of years. My rent keeps going up ( $277/mo) for a 10x10 unit, and yet the time they open in the morning gets later and later. The back gate is supposed to open at 7:00am, they put a stop to that over a year ago. I just went there today and yesterday at about 9:00am, and I cannot even get in the back gate. The office does not even open until 9:30am. Im glad Im moving away, I let Corporate know about this when they started opening later, but never got a response. They still advertise that they open early. I also have never missed a payment. Do not use this place. John is not my real name, just in case PS wants to get a hold of me, but this is one of my real Emails.

Couldnt be better! Initially Amy was very helpful on the phone, I booked the space online then went down & paid. Donna was very very professional & efficient, & a really pleasant person too. She took me on a full tour of the space & made suggestions that would make it easier for me. I had questions but she answered them all & some I hadnt thought of before I could even ask them. Prices are very good relative to others I surfed & things go like clockwork. All charges are up front & explained, nothing is hidden so you get caught later. Thanks Donna & Amy.

OMG, hands down this has got to be the best Public Storage that I have ever been too, and I have been to alot! Customer service is excellent, smiling faces, and helpful assistance. Kevin, Amy, and Martin (Employees at PS) will go the whole 9 yards and beyond to ensure your satisfaction while you rent here. I urge you to check them out and find peace of mind knowing your belongings will be safe and secure. Also their District Manager Todd Haynes is really friendly and will do business with you with your best interest always in mind.
