Very rude & racist staff (Helena). The first day I had chosen my storage size & unit online, but when I arrived she started pushing me to pay for larger spaces. I didnt want to change my decision and she would retaliate with every attitude during lifetime of my membership. She became more intrusive & hostile when I complained to the District Manager. Eventually, I canceled my account and she again initiated verbal abuse & fight on my cancellation day, including open racial comments! unbelievably this happened right in front of the Property Manager (a short, thin Middle Eastern guy) . If you encounter same issues, dont call customer service line. They have no authority. Search the Corporate Office address and directly write the HR department. Very sad to see the country has reached such a social/ political decay that even low individuals like her play racial cards. And very happy I do not have to see this place anymore. I have happily moved to a different storage facility, staff are much much politer, very friendly, and almost half-priced. No need to submit Driver License to get a cart, and much cleaner.

Great people, and an excellent facility. I stored with Public Storage some years back when you still had "pods" that you would deliver to the home. When I looked for storage space this Fall, I considered other near-by facilities, and found either dangerous locations, rude customer service, or high prices at the ones I went to. I had ruled out your facility because you no longer have the pods, but I stopped by anyway and found the same friendly and kind person working there from years before, Helena. I decided to skip the pod idea, and to rent from you because you have someone I like to deal with, as well as the safe location and a good price. Im a 60-year resident of Northridge, so I know a lot of people in the area, and I am glad to recommend you to them. It makes a big difference coming in to a place where I like the people. Helena is not only very kindly, but she also explained quickly and easily how to use the locks and the storage space door, and the pass codes for the elevator and gate. Ive been renting a number of spaces for various reasons for the last 3+ years at this public storage. My experiences with the Helena and Laura have been nothing short of fantastic. Always helpful, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile, whether it be to help you through the renting process, picking out the right unit for you, showing you your unit before renting it, closing down a storage unit, answering questions, paying rent, figuring out what materials you might need for packing your things safely, or just greeting you with a smile when you come in. I always feel incredibly welcomed and at home walking into the office and saying hi. I highly recommend this storage facility. Just go in an say hi to Helena or Laura. Youll be glad you did!

I have been at Public Storage for over a year, and have had an amazing experience with excellent service. Not only has Helena walked me personally through the paying online experience, they always help with my every need. This week, I needed to let go of my box springs from my King bed. They called a reliable service to help me get rid of it within 2 hours!! Whenever I come to pay my bill in person, I get exceptional service from Helena, who has been there from the beginning for me, and I am always greeted with a smile and what can Helena and Laura do for me. I simply cannot say enough about their customer service towards me, and they are the reason I am so happy with my storage experience. Thank you Helena and Laura, you are the BEST!!

This storage facility is very clean and well run, primarily because Helena and Laura are first rate managers. Plus, they are some of the friendliest, most helpful people you will ever meet. Im sure if I ever had a problem, they would correct it right away, though that might be hard to prove, because Ive never had a problem since I first moved my belongings there. Then there is one other service that Im sure no other storage place provides. Helena (and Laura too) will make you laugh because she is downright hilarious. She has a wicked sense of humor. In fact, she should start doing comedy clubs. In the mean time, you can catch her act just by visiting Public Storage.

This location is one of the better one Ive seen and used so far. Helena is one of the best manager Ive dealt with in a very long time. Make sure to reserve your space online this is a very busy location and the spaces dont last. If Helena not at the front counter helping customers then shes doing her rounds and keeping this very large property clean. Helena is my go to girl, she really cares about her customers. Thank you Helena, Im extremely happy with my storage space in the controlled A/C environment that actual works, I spend a lot of time there clean out and organizing my stuff so the A/C really helps keeping me cool in this Hot Summer Valley Heat. -Carlos :-)

I have been a customer for over 5 years and have had 3 different units during that time. As my needs changed Helena was there to help me with the right sized unit in my preferred area. Helena runs a tight ship over there and it is evident in the well maintained facility. Ron is man behind the curtain. You probably wont see him behind the counter but he is the one that fixed the light that burnt out or anything else that is in need to repair. The whole staff is pleasant and always greet you with a smile. The facility is always immaculate. This is the only place to go for all your storage needs. If you need a storage unit go see Helena.

I must admit, needing to store our belongings while we were waiting for our new home to be ready, and after reading some of the reviews nationally about storage companies, my wife and I were skeptical about trusting the safekeeping of our "stuff" in a storage facility. However, that was all put to rest by the great staff at this location of Public Storage, particularly Myra and Kristin. They were polite, courteous and very professional and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and safe leaving our belongings in this facility. This company should be proud of such a wonderful staff! I would recommend this location highly!

Ive used other Public Storage facilities in the past. This location is hands down the most customer service friendly facility Ive ever been encountered in this field across the USA. Both assistants, Helena and Laura are model employees and do their work efficiently, pleasingly and with a great knowledge of the business, all this done with warm smiles, great professionalism and customer care/service as a focal point. Their interactions with the public should be the training model followed by all Public Storage facilities everywhere. Thank Helena and Laura for making the storing my belongings a pleasant experience.

I loved my experience with the Public Storage employees and company. I had my unit for about 7 years. I was using the second smallest size they had. The people who worked at the facility I was at were all very nice and helpful. Customer service always helped me with anything questions or anything I needed. They were very good at calling for reminders and making sure people werent late. They were always very friendly when ever I visited my unit or was making a payment. I would recommend if you need a storage unit and live near the Northridge, CA area you should definitely choose this one.
