I have had furniture and valuables stored in the same facility for nearly thirty years and through three owners: Public Storage; Storage Direct; and US Storage. In the years I have been there, I have had one instance of water damage coming from a manufacturer behind my unit and one instance of theft coming through the shared wall from another unit. The current managers are by far the best we have had. They have also hired polite, helpful staff, whom I consider the best staff ever. In one instance, several years ago, I added a second unit. While walking between my units, I left the door of one unit partially open. A couple of fellows came by and began to load things from my new unit into their truck. I was gone such a short time that I came back, caught them, and got my things back. I reported the incident to the current management and later learned that the perpetrators were no longer able to use the storage facility. I thought this was very much an indicator of " best practices" being used by the facility. My only complaint is the amount of filth that gets into the units due to the blowing off of the driving roads. Things have to be covered with plastic, and even then they get dirty.

Ive kept things in storage for several years now, so Im familiar with the process. US Storage Centers had a few extras not found in some of the other storage places. For example, the free use of the rental truck was a huge bonus that was much appreciated. Theyll also prorate rental fees on move-out if its within the first 5 days of the month. Thats rare. My service rep Candy was professional and friendly. She answered all my questions and made sure the process went smoothly. A couple days before I was due to come in to sign paperwork, she called me to make sure that she would be on duty to help me when I came in. This assured that I wouldnt have to start over with a different service rep. I thought this went above and beyond, because having to deal with different employees for something like this can sometimes be a bit of a nuisance. Storage units are everywhere, so these extras make this one a good choice.

Worse experience ever! FIRST, I was told it was a 5x10, not a 4x9. They inconvenienced me TWICE to fix my sticking rollup door. They locked me out numerous times before my payment was due. YOU HAVE TO ASKE THE LADY THAT LIVES THERE TO OPEN THE BATHROOM FOR YOU... and the old man that works there is creepy. I left to a cleaner location VERY nearby and for less. When God opens closes a door he opens a window... After reading some of the other posts i can see they may have been paid like TODD S, there are NO inside storage units nor are their prices are NOT the best. They are factually the worse. I was on my way out one day and another tenant there was having trouble with his van, it wouldnt start, and he said to me that the lady in the office TOLD HIM that I COULD HELP HIM... well i couldnt refuse help, but i did have someplace to go... luckily i know what im doing... STEAR CLEAR!

I have worked with many storage companies both for business and personal purposes in the past and currently. The staff at this facility have always been very helpful, courteous, and professional. I can always count on the staff to go above and beyond to make my experience pleasant. They give me accurate and honest information consistently, which is greatly appreciated in my busy businesses . Liz has always worked with me to make my experience with US Storage fantastic, and in fact along with Mary are the difference to me that set US Storage in the West San Fernando Valley, head and shoulders above the competition. My compliments to US Storage for having such excellent personnel representing them.

I have been using storage centers throughout the San Fernando valley for over 35 years, and since i moved into a few Storage units here at US Storage on Plummer in Chatsworth. i think i will never have to move again. it is inside which is amazingly clean and 100% secure with alarm system and cameras every where, their prices are actually lower then the outdoor facilities i was with in the past. Also the people who work their at US Storage are all very kind and go out of their way to help you. Best place in the San Fernando Valley by far all around, cleanliness, secure, and great location. I love this place NO DOUBT! They have the friendliest staff and they are so helpful. I can definitely agree with some of the others reviews the ladies Elizabeth and Mary are absolutely amazing! I have had other units at different locations and no other property is like this property. This property is so clean and maintained very well. Not only is it beautiful but, I actually feel safe having my property stored here. I RECOMMEND this property to ANYONE who is looking for the best deals and the best service!

We have been using US Storage in Chatsworth on Desoto for at least 6 years. With our estate sale company our needs change pretty often. Liz has always been able to find a unit that fits our needs. Security is excellent. Good lighting and a working gate. Never had a problem getting in. The isles are wide and clean. One of our movers did not lock the unit properly and Liz promptly called to let us know. She is always very helpful as is her staff. The entire staff has a great attitude.

Manager Elizabeth is rude. Storage units have no good seals on the bottom of the doors, so your stored items are filthy and covered in some kind of soot. When I brought this to the attention to the manager...she said "well these are outdoor units". I have had outdoor units before and have never had any problem with filth at all. She told me to cover my contents with plastic. My experience was not a good one...hope yours is better.

I have been with Us storage since 2013 and I havent had any issues with coming and going to the facility. The facility is well kept and monitored. The staff was very helpful with payments. I was in a rut for a couple of months and I just couldnt keep up... Staff members are superb, friendly and I couldnt express anymore overall helpful. We need more people like that in this world. I would recommend this storage facility..
