I had a reservation for a large storage unit but when I got there, they had rented it to someone else despite the fact that they knew I was closing 3 other storage units at other places and consolidating into theirs. The manager and I had multiple conversations and knew I was incurring not insignificant expense to make this move but when I got to Empire to get the truck I had rented for the moves, I was told they no longer had any of the size I had reserved or at the price. When I protested that I had a deal, I was asked by the guy on the desk, "can you prove it?". If I wanted to rent a very large and expensive unit at full retail, I could have it but I didnt need the extra big ones and they knew the ones they now only had were too small. I am betting I am also lucky that their "verbal" promises that the prices wont be increase on a regular basis are as good as their other promises.

Horrible customer service, oh yea, and mice! I found them in my unit January 29th and report d it to managements. They claimed it was because of the rain. Its now July and Im over trying to wait for them to take care of this. I had allowed them access to my storage unit to replace the mice traps and they didnt do it- I always had to bring the full traps to the office. Theyve never offered to genuinely help and now Im stuck with furniture that stinks and saying goodbye to my sentimental items. Dont rent here!

Hard to screw up self storage, but these guys do a pretty good job making a mess of things. The facilities are nice enough, but reading the contract one gets the sense theyre more interested in screwing people over the fine print than they are in renting storage space. Not worth the headache. Additionally when you leave they wont prorate the last month because they- they just dont. ??

Great staff!! Bill was amazing, kind and nice to my mom who rented unit there for awhile. He was amazing! I wish I could express in words how grateful and appreciative I am for his kindness and help as moving can be stressful but he made the experience seen easy.
