I work nearby and have to use this post office for its convenience. I witnessed as well as experienced in person many times the rudeness, impatience and unprofessionalism the Staff working there, especially some female African American staff, exhibited to the customers. One example of my multiple unpleasant personal experiences with them: I tried to resend a package previously mailed from this EXACT Post Office returned due to a labeling reason and asked a female staff sincerely: "This package was returned last time. Are there any changes recently in the labeling rules?" Instead of answering it, she said something like: "Do you want to mail it or not?", "I can give you a phone number to complain." "Do you want me to repeat?” Crazy! Avoid this Post Office if you have an option. Do NOT use their service.

Located in a beautiful old building from the early 1930s, this post office is notoriously slow. However, if you actually have patience and maybe even bring a book with you in line, its not bad. Staff is actually friendly at the desk and usually sends your package off quite fast. Like any US post office larger than a postage stamp, theres never enough post office agents when you need them, I shudder to think what the week before Christmas would be like in here. Despite all this, I keep coming back to this location, Id much rather be bored and in line in a beautiful place versus the hideously ugly 1970s cement boxes you find elsewhere.

You have to manually fill out the little paper slip and write the address on your package. They do not print out the blank shipping label like other post offices. No self-service machine. Also, I would advise people to buy stamps elsewhere -- you can acquire stamps at most convenience stores like 7/11, Safeway, etc.

They didnt have any medium flat rate boxes out, only large and small. When I asked if they could put more out she told me to get in line (15 people in line). This is something that you shouldnt have to wait in line for, just do your job and make the boxes available like theyre supposed to be. So rude, so lazy.

Great service everytime I go. Maybe because I go to the P.O. only 3 times a year it doesnt seem bad to me. The staff is helpful and even wrote on a package I sent to my family overseas with Xmas wishes.
