So I recently joined this gym, and today was supposed to be my "fitness Assessment " . There was apparently a mix up and my trainer schedules had left so I was let with the "Master trainer " Morteza T. , and wow is he something. He was soo rude and unprofessional. Obviously if Im at the gym and in need of a trainer is because I am not anywhere near where I wanna be . He started off with basics ... weighin me , and when he asked me for my goal amd how many lbs I wanted to loose , after I told him he said " your gonna loose the weight I tell u " which was weird to me and rude considering he had just asked me. So then we moved on to squats... now keep on mind that I am very out of shape, and I dont have any balance so a proper squat is hard for me because I feel Im falling back , and on top he adds and 18lbs weight for me to squats... and when I said it was a bit too heavy for me he asked me what my job was ... saying " I dont go to your job and tell u what to do , I am a master trainer and I have been doing this for x amount of yrs" , at this point I had it with his rude mannerisms. I said thank u and said I was going to reschedule with someone else. ... so as I get to the counter to reschedule he follows me and tells the guy at the front desk that Im trying to tell him how to do his job.. not once did I do that .. , even the People around us saw how rude he was ... I dont know if he was having a bad day or what his deal was , but he was just plain rude. Horrible first experience here at this gym.

Unfortunately I dont have the option of giving this place 0 stars. They dont deserve any and need to be shut down just from the smell walking in the door alone. I am new to the area and wanted to try out a guest pass. At first, Manuel Fernandez said he couldnt give it because he needed to see proof of local address. I went to my car to provide proof. That should have been the end of story but he wanted to know how many days I would workout so I said Ill try it today. Then he said he would have to charge me just for trying it today! Its a guess pass. Interesting. I really believe it was just discrimination and he wanted to flex his sales managers muscles and not allow me to use the guest pass. I will be talking to the higher end. TERRIBLE customer service. Manuel Fernández needs a dose of humility and new customer service training. Not everyone can handle leadership positions because then they mistreat people. Find another gym!

If I could give negative stars, I would give -5! This club is mostly visited by the Latino community; therein the reason why it may be the worst club 24 Hours may have in its whole fleet: we Latinos tend to not complain or ask for claim whats rightful and ours! Big corporations like 24 Hour are in the business of making profits, therefore if no one is saying anything about the conditions of this place, the corporation will keep this gym the worst it can as long as its turning profits, and at this location I bet theres a thick profit margin! If you are reading this and go to this gym, please make an appointment with management and let them know that you are planning on withdrawing your memberships if improvements are not seen immediately. The more people complain like this, the faster they will provide a better gym for everyone.

I work in Van Nuys and live in Northridge so this gym was my only option on my way home. I normally go to the 24 hour in Northridge in the mornings. I actually did not mind this location at all. Parking was fine and the staff was welcoming. It was small but it did the job. I went around 6:30pm and surprisingly it was not as busy as expected but it was raining so that might be why. There were alot of machines when you first walk in to work out different muscle groups. The free weight section was small with limited benches and older weights, and there were not enough treadmills. Again, this is a small/older gym so you work with what you have. I plan on going there again tonight. It is not raining so I might end up revising my review. Oh and bring your own towel!

Still among the worst gyms in the city. They changed a carpet that was about 16 yrs old,put a coat of paint and some slogans on the wall and think that"s a renovation> ITS DIRTY, THEY NEVER EMPTY THE TRASH CANS UNTIL they are Overflowing. They hang the bottle of cleaner spray on the garbage cans. The elliptical machines havent been replaced in about 15 years. Few work properly or have cup holders that are not broken.The workout machines have not had pins for the secondary weights in over 5 years NOT ONE OF THE MACHINES.One of the fans broke that helps to circulate the air in the gym about 5 years ago and they removed it and never replaced it.Read the reviews and if your smart youll join another gym,This one literally STINKS.

Nunca avía visto un gimnasio de 24 horas fitness más mal que este que se encuentra en panorama city, no tuayas y según es un gym de los mejores según la compañía pero es lo más peor no vuelvo a ir .esa foto según es para colgarse y hacer ejercicios y se resbalan por lo mismo que no es adecuado para un gym . This gym sucks. 90% of equipment is broken or old and half the equipment is missing its original parts so you have these old/broken machines with different parts that arent for it. This gym is filthy and the bathrooms are disgusting, I dont even go into them. I use to go to the 24hour gym in Glendora CA and that gym alone is better then half the gyms out here in LA/SFV and its crazy to me that I have to upgrade my gym membership to the supersport membership to get the same things I got in Glendora. 24hour gym you guys need to step up and fix this gym up, I am serious considering LA Fitness or Crunch.

The problem with this particular 24 hour is its a bit over crowded so Its hard to find the weights you need during your workout, on top of that there is no gym etiquette with the crowd as far as re-racking weights in there right position, or the weights wont even make it back to the racks so they will be found lying around, nor is it enforced by the facility to re-rack them in the correct spot so this can be frustrating. Ive been to many 24 hours in southern ca and they usually are on top of things.

People give this gym an undeserved bad rap. Sure there is room for improvement how ever this gym has made pretty good with what room there is on the floor. The layout optimizes usability, theyve upgraded the flooring, the equipment is the same you would find in any other normal gym/24 hour fitness and yes the staff is great. A days worth odd work in upgrades for the locker/shower/toilette area and this would be an easy 4 star.
