I strongly discourage anyone from joining this establishment. In late August I had a piece of equipment weighing several hundred pounds completely collapse on me. I only narrowly avoided serious injury. Whats worse is there was zero follow up from management to make sure I was okay or to reassure me they were addressing any root problems. In a separate incident an employee addressed my youngest child directly in a confrontational manner while he was under my supervision. This was obviously a very disturbing encounter. But what made it worse was that the GM displayed such an absence of accountability or even diplomacy with regard to the incident. As I am personal friends with several employees there, it is clear that there is a lack of clarity about basic policies involving safety and codes of conduct. It is sad that there are some good people and good trainers who work there. But the GM displayed that his commitment is more to short term expediency than to any sense of integrity. I want my children to know that its not okay for someone to speak to them inappropriately. I also teach my children that they should be accountable if they mess up. I teach them that integrity matters. These are not values that the current management of the Paseo Club shares. If these values mean anything to you, have nothing to do with the Paseo Club.

I have been a member for a year but needed to cancel my membership because this school year was just to busy. I called the club because I received an e-mail stating that they would be taking a payment from my bank account for the month of Oct. I called to confirm I was not going to be charged for another month but the acct. director was not there. I ask for a phone call back and left two numbers were she could reach me. She never returned my call so I called back and was told she was gone for the day. I asked to be contacted 1st thing the next day at 7:30am when she came in and was told they would make sure to have her call. I never received a call. When I called back for the third time she told me she had e-mailed me. I explained that I did not ask to be e-mailed I asked for a phone call and left two numbers that she could reach me on. I explained that in the future if I asked to be contacted by phone I want a call not an e-mail. She then told me it did not matter because my membership was canceled anyway. I had planned on rejoining in the up coming year when things were not so busy but I will NEVER go back and I will tell everyone I know about the treatment I received. I dont normally write complaints about places but I was so upset by the way I was treated I felt I should let people know.

I have been a member for a couple of years, used it regularly up to about eight months ago when the maintenance started to drop off, dirty showers, no soap etc. last month I received a notice of increase in fees – two percent, surprising in this climate! This notice reminded me that I was not going and decided to cancel. Several e-mails and calls later I received a call and was told that there is a 60 day cancellation fee (be careful what you sign). I contacted the general manager and explained that I did not feel comfortable with paying the 60 day cancellation, but would agree to 30 days, as this is typical in most businesses. Unfortunately the GM was completely unmoved by my augment stating that this was the clubs policy, he didn’t seem concerned that I was leaving and in fact never asked me why. Frankly he only seemed concerned that the policy must be adhered to! Now I know why most of my friends that joined with me have left, and have been advising me to leave. My advice is to check out Gold’s or Spectrum or any of the other clubs in Santa Clarita most are cheaper, cleaner and certainly more respectful of their client’s needs. The club is a great idea but under the present management I am afraid it will be another business that closes within the next few years.

I am sadly in my last days at the Paseo Club as my family moves back to Ventura. My membership here was filled with so many great experiences both with the quality of customer service, the amenities and the overall environment were one of a kind. The price you pay is almost double a typical gym membership but the value is at least 4x the price you pay. Here are just a few things that I really enjoyed at The Paseo Club. *High Quality Alkaline Drinking Water *Really clean and private shower rooms *upkept steam and dry sauna *Readily available coffee & tea for free *Ability to use TRXs without having to join a class *Very friendly people at the front counter Probably the most unique and fun experience we had was the ability to drop our kids off at a high quality kids club while we enjoyed a good workout, shower, and then dinner. We treated this as our date night and it was nice knowing our kids were in good hands. If you are at all considering The Paseo Club I would say pull the trigger. You will not be disappointed!

The Paseo Club is my second home. I started there to get in shape more than seven years ago. At that time one of the superb fitness coaches actually got me to run a 5K. Since then I have taken up tennis and still enjoy many kinds of classes including Pilates Reformer. Recently I got a gold membership which allows me to take all kinds of tennis drills and fitness classes for a small extra charge each month. The very best parts of Paseo Club are free morning coffee, a friendly personal staff, and so many friends. I love it there and go every day, enjoying GREAT food and great company.

This Club has it all: a great GM, friendly, professional staff, an amazing Chef, a well-equipped, clean gym, massage, tennis, restaurant, saunas, and a really cool, supervised Kids Korner that our son loves!! Oh!...and a very affordable membership! What else could you possibly want?? We moved from Beverly Hills where we lived for several years and we could only dream about a place like this there without spending a fortune. We LOVE Paseo, and our standards are pretty high. Highly recommended.

Paseo Club is awesome! Im surprised people complain as much as they do. If you ever have an issue here just talk to Nikki, she will handle it. This place is always incredibly clean, family friendly.
