This will definitely be the last time we rent a property from Beach Bum Rentals. This is the second time and each time the rental situation, payment, refunds (of deposist owed) is an excrutiating ordeal. I would BEWARE....they are the most unprofessional and rude group of people I have ever dealt with. The owner, MARCIA SPINELLI, is not only rude herself but she encourages an atmosphere whereby her staff is rude and condescending to customers. Our group of friends who in the past have rented properties through Beach Bum in Pismo refuse to rent from them any longer. I wish I had followed their lead this year. They experienced the same type of treatment I did, but I decided to give them another opportunity this year. BIG MISTAKE! Live and Learn!

Condo was dated and shabby. Description did not mention the incredible traffic noise that ruined sitting on the deck and disrupted sleep. To top it all off, we brought movies to watch in the evenings, but the DVD player would not work. We emailed Beach Bum Holidays and they sent a repair man who could not get the DVD player to work either. He left and returned with a replacement, but found when attempting to hook it up, that the TV / DVD wiring was not done correctly. He was finally able to get it to work-----but then BEACH BUM HOLIDAYS charged my credit card for a service call !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I emailed them and they never replied, so I phoned and was told a manager would get back to me----never happened. I cannot recommend BEACH BUM HOLIDAYS!

Wasnt going to leave a review until I read that the person below me experienced the same thing--the same condescending attitude from Marcia the owner, and the time it took for me to receive my receipts for charges from a rental that took place TWO months ago. The staff is generally pretty nice over the phone, but they clearly avoided me each time I asked for receipts or wanted to speak with the owner. She was always "busy" or "on the phone" or "out for an emergency" each time I called. I called them out on it and finally got my receipts. I would recommend looking at their Yelp reviews, which has an average of a whopping 1.5 stars.

Just left today from a condo were rented in Pismo Beach for a 3 day weekend. 1 block from the beach. Had an amazing time. Condo was perfect. Office staff at Beach Bum was very responsive and polite. No issues at all. They even called on our second day to make sure everything was ok. Dont go by the negative comments on here. Our weekend was perfect!!

We live in England and have stayed in Pismo Beach apartments on 4 different occasions and these stays were all brilliantly organised and managed by Beach Bums. They provided an excellent service and respond quickly and efficiently to any issues or questions. We will definitely be returning and using their services again.

Great people to rent from. Friendly & professional. Had a great rental from them for several months until I found a permanent place. They where really on top of things when there were problems. The rental was reasonable for the prime Shell Beach spot. It had only a two block walk to the ocean or to Pizza!

We stayed at the property on Wadsworth. It was a 3 bedroom and we shared it with another couple. We had an awesome time and it has a really cool rooftop deck with amazing ocean views. Couldnt have asked for a better weekend. We will be back again to rent again from Beach Bum rentals!

Would never use this company again. Tried to book a condo with them. Emailed them several times telling them I wanted to reserve it. Eventually after a WEEK they responded saying to call them. I did the following business day only to be told someone just booked it. POOR MANAGEMENT:(

We had a wonderful experience with Beach Bum rentals and our place on Park Avenue was beautiful. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Making the reservations was easy and convenient, I highly recommend.

Rented a 2 bd 2.5 bath Condo in Novemer of last year. Furnishings were beautiful as well as the amenities. The staff was helpful and nice. The kitchen was fantastic and well stocked. Will definitely rent again.
