Its hard to find a Honda mechanic you can trust, but this shop is a 10. I called around for a brake repair quote from several shops and from speaking to Brian the owner I chose this one due to his cander, not to mention price was reasonable. I made a same day appointment and he got me right in. My 01 Honda Civic was in need of brake service badly. I knew it would be more than a basic brake job and expected to need everything on the front brakes. To my suprize I only needed the front brakes and 1 rotor. He could of easily told me more, but that wasnt the case. He also noticed I was over due for my major service, which I had been putting off due to the expense and quoted me much less than the other places Ive been to. If I would have known about this place before I wouldnt have neglected it for so long. I had them do the brakes, timing belt, tune up and change all the fluids and it was only $768.29 with the tax! Last time we had Brakes done on my husbands 96 Honda Accord at the tire shop, just the front was $680.00 and even though it wasnt making noise yet they said I needed everything, which I doubted. I know we wont make that mistake again. I am so impressed by Allen Imports & Brian. The service was completed same day and the explanation of what was done was very informative. Thanks Brian for showing me what was wrong, even though I am a woman I still liked seeing and believing!

Brian had my car for 2 days for an overheating problem. Each time he suggested something to fix his response was "but i dont know if thats gonna work" The second day he had my car he didnt start working on it until late afternoon claiming "Im just having an off day today, dont know whats with me." I said no problem of course and by the weekend he said my car was good to go, less than 26 miles later my car is parked at a gas station with my 1 year old and my cars coolant (I was already charged twice for) leaking everywhere from a hose. when I called him, he was all too chill about it, claiming it was probably an old hose... yeah ok. I paid over $1100 and tipped him $20 for a "professional" to milk me for money and still ended up on the side of the road with a hose leak.....something he would have found if he had pressure checked the system etc. Cool.

Best brake repair prices in town by far. Excellent customer service. When I went into the dealer in Folsom they told me my rear brake calipers were frozen and had to be replaced. The total bill was outrageous.!! I shopped around and found Allen imports online. They had great reviews so I gave them a try. Brian was able to free up the frozen calipers and all I needed was 1 rotor and rear brakes.... my total bill was less then half of what I was quoted at the dealer. I would recommend allen imports any day......

I had my car worked on at a chain auto repair shop, but after driving a bit, I noticed that my car didnt drive entirely the way I thought it should. Concerned that I might have been "had", I called around for a second opinion. Allen identified the problem, fixed what needed to be repaired, and helped smooth things out with the prior repair shop. He is efficient and his services are worth more than he charged me. I trust and respect his work.

Thanks Brian! Dropped my car off on a Saturday for an emergency 1 day only repair for suspect loose exhaust manifold, it turned out to need an engine mount, if that wasnt enough, the bolts were broken and had to be extracted, and at 8:00 Saturday night, Brian was true to his promise and had the car finished and ready for pickup. five stars Brian, Thanks!

I recently had my 105,000 mile maintenance done here this past week. This included timing belt water pump spark plugs and front brakes pads and rotors. It was a very pleasant experience. Great customer service and unbelievable prices. I just wish it didnt take me two mechanics before I found these guys.
