Precision Tune Auto Care is AMAZING!! I went through quite an ordeal with a place across the street Redwood Car Care where my vehicle failed smog. They adjusted the timing, and it failed even worse. They said I needed a new catalytic converter for several hundred dollars. I decided to take my vehicle across the street to Precision Tune Auto Care. They said theyd do a diagnostic test on it before replacing anything. They saw that the timing was totally incorrect (too advanced or rich), which is what caused the vehicle to fail the smog!!! When they adjusted the timing correctly, the vehicle PASSED the SMOG with flying colors!! Instead of charging me for a full Diagnostic test (which they did do), they ONLY charged me for the SMOG test!! This place has won my future business! I highly recommend them. You can count on them to be honest, AND do a good, competent job as well.

This place used to be good as others have mentioned but since Yadier left this site to work at the dealers this place has simply fallen apart. They have the owner named Elizabeth running the front desk now. She tries to up sale on parts and labor that is unnecessary. I tried to talk with the service manager who had helped me previous with my vehicle about a problem that I had. Elizabeth would not allow me to speak with him after trying to reach him all week. At the end of the day she was very rude and unprofessional. I will no longer go there as the staff has changed and the owner at the front desk is trying to cut corners. What a shame as this place sucks now. Stay away!

If you love wasting time, this is your paradise. I called to schedule a smog test & was told I could come right over & the test would take about 30 minutes. After completing the sign-in process I went for a walk, & when I got back about a half hour later the car was still in the spot I left it. I was then told they had to fix the smog test machine but it was now ready & the test would be completed in 15 minutes. I walked across the street & spent another half hour shopping at Redwood Trading Post. When I returned they told me the smog machine wasnt working & they couldnt perform the test.

Ive taken my car to Precision for a while because it is convenient and they have good coupon offers. But the last time I took my car in for some maintenance they told me that the battery was about ti die and needed to be replaced. I figured since the car was already there and they could probably use the business (this was in the depths of the recession) to go ahead. When I came to pick up the car that evening I found they had charged me $150 for a new battery! I felt ripped off, and now I wonder if I was getting similarly overcharged for all of the other work I had done there.

The quality of service has dropped drastically here over the last year or so. They used to be friendly, honest, and reasonably priced. Now, they are NONE of those things. This observation is not based on one bad experience, but several disappointing phone calls and visits in the last 6-12 months. Its pretty sad considering this WAS a reliable service center for at least five years before that. I hope they lose the dead weight and restaff soon, starting with competent management.

This used to be a great place to bring your cars. I brought my cars here for years when Steve was the owner, they were honest, responsive and skilled. They totally earned their Diamond Certified Rating. Unfortunately, Steve sold the business in 2012. Now they are over-priced, unskilled and with very poor customer service. Things have really changed for the worse. Not that I think the current owner cares at all.

I have had such good service here... it is hard to describe. In brief, they treated my wife really well and were honest with her the first time we ever went there. Recently, we brought it in as there was some noise from the brakes and they diagnosed and fixed it (rust on the rotor) all for free. I am continually impressed!

Really great service, honest guys, realized for me that another shop was trying to trick me. Quick work, quickly available, and I come back regularly. Offer a short ride if needed. Good car advice. They read off check engine light codes for free.

Absolutely the best service around! The prices are fair and the team is honest in their assessment of work that is needed to be done. I have been going to Precision tune AutoCare for at least 6 years. Will never go back to a dealership!

I would return for future service that was quick and reasonably priced at a convenient location on El Camino near Jefferson in RC. Small waiting room or many nearby restaurants to bide your time while the work is being done.
