As a property manager with a portfolio of almost 100 doors (whether SFRs, duplexes, or units) throughout northern and southern California, Arizona, and Nevada; I can honestly say that Ace Plumbing, Heating and Air is by far my favorite vendor in any state. Most vendors let me down in one way or another, but Ace continues to not only meet our needs, but often exceeds them. Dont waste your time with anyone else. I would gladly recommend Ace to anyone (even the most particular of tenants or homeowners) for any plumbing, heating or air conditioning needs. Due to our obligations to our property owners, we typically get multiple bids (no less than three) on our larger maintenance and repair jobs. Ace Plumbing is often the most affordable bid without sacrificing quality. Over the years, Ive come to find that many of our vendors will leave out important details in their bids to hide the fact that they are not bidding the same amount of work or using the same high-quality materials as their competitors. If I do find a better price, they are eager to have their general manager, Scott, review both bids to see if they can match it or even beat it. Ace Plumbing is very responsive by phone and email; Ive never waited for a call back for more than 20 or 30 minutes whether from their office staff or their technicians. They go out of their way to be helpful even helping me find other vendors and materials for issues (or areas) that they do not cover. Our first experience together--after getting the run-around from another vendor for FOUR DAYS--was with a non-functioning water heater and a very upset tenant. Ace handled it gracefully and immediately; I called around 4 pm, and the technician was set to arrive between 6 pm and 8 pm that evening. The technician promptly called me upon his arrival (around 6 pm) and maintained communication during and after he left (all vendors have to call me to get authorization and inform me when theyre done). Normally, I struggle to get our vendors to comply, so that alone was amazing. Even when dealing with tricky situations (like in our first transaction together), they are courteous and patient with me, my construction team, and my frustrated and anxious (and sometimes rude) tenants. That tenant, who can be difficult to please, has called me several times to compliment them and request them by name (even for things they dont do). In the past, Ive had issues with my accounting department (due to our credit card company issuing random fraud holds), but Ace has always worked with us. Poppy, their office manager, is the best; shes sharp as a tack and is always a pleasure to work with. She now knows our protocols (for example, we need each work order completion on a separate invoice and as a separate receipt) and communicates them with their technicians without me having to ask. She and I talk more frequently than I do with my best friend mostly because my northern California properties are more numerous and tend to be more troublesome than those in my other areas. Scott, the general manager, is incredible too. No matter who you speak with, they communicate well, set the expectation and give you any options that may apply. This is how businesses are supposed to be run!! My only complaint is that they dont do more, like landscaping, fence repairs, pool maintenance, roofing, framing, electrical, window replacement, garage door repair, and anything else my tenants could ever possibly need (besides plumbing, heating, and air).

I had them come to fix my AC, after the $80 inspection the capacitor needed to be changed. After a quick search I found the capacitor at my local Walmart for $8 ready for pick up, I was charged $203 for the same part. After speaking with the technician he told me that the extra price covered materials and labor. There were no materials needed, the installation was as easy as changing a light bulb, less than 5 min. If I wanted my part installed another day I was going to be charged $185 for the "visit and labor" and $205 for the part. I called the office and the receptionist told me that she was going to verify that I was charged for the right part, she was gonna look on the "books" if I got the right price and part charged for. BOOKS!!! BOOKS!!!? It is 2017 and your prices are in books? So I had to wait for them to call me back. Im not gonna tell you how to run your business but maybe if you get the prices on a computer your prices will be the same throughout and make the expierence a little better and QUICKER for your PAYING CUSTOMERS. So you guys charge twice per installation? How is it justified a 40x price increase? The job was done right but I felt that I was taken advantage of.

After fighting with my kitchen sink being blocked for six hours, I finally admitted that I would need professional assistance. I called Ace just after 9pm and talked to Adrian. I explained my issue and that my kids were going to bed soon. Adrian assured me that he could fix the blockage quickly and that he could be to my house in less than an hour so my kids could get to bed. He showed up as promised at 10pm and he was loading his equipment with the issue fully resolved in less than 20 minutes. The drain block just past the trap was cleared with a professional grade snake that all the residential methods I had tried in the previous 5 hours had failed. Adrians quick response, his very professional attitude and knowledege of plumbing systems, and the $20 coupon online that I was able to use with no hassle guaranteed a favorable outcome to a really frustrating issue. I had an emergency the other day, when an old water pipe in my yard burst, and I had a torrent of water being sprayed into the air, from an old abandoned sprinkler line. I had the City shut off my water,then I called Ace for two reasons: 1)I had used them before several years ago to do some pipe repair in my bathroom, and 2) because they are local, and I figured they would be much more reasonably-priced than places that advertize heavily, such as Bonney Plumbing. Lupe came out the same day I called. I explained what was going on, and he quickly assessed the situation, and re-did my faucet so as to eliminate unnecessary T intersections that led to old abandoned pipe. I then asked him if he would have time to fix a leaking shower faucett, and he did. The overall price was very reasonable. Lupes manner was friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Ace Plumbing to anybody who needs professional plumbing done.

Ace Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning is great!!! I called Sunday evening and Dennis answered the phone. I couldnt believe someone answered. I was set to leave a message but a real person answered. I explained my problem and he said he would be out in 15 minutes. I could not believe my ears!!! I asked him if I had to make an appointment for tomorrow and he said not if I wanted it taken care of tonight. I was happy he could come and still in shock when he pulled up at my house (we were outside cause it was hotter in my house than outside) and he went to work right away. He gave me a quote and he figured out the problem right away. I am sitting in my air conditioned house right now and we are more than happy with the service. Dennis is awesome and should get a pay increase for coming out in the evening on a Sunday. Thank you Dennis for saving us from an extra hot evening and hotter tommorow. Tami and Walter
