Run away fast avoid them like the plague. If there was an option for zero stars I would give them zero. Im currently renting from them and Im not happy at all. Back when they use to be Century 21 they were amazing but ever since Select Property bought them out they have been a complete nightmare to rent from. The house they rented me looks nice with its hardwood floors and fully tiled bathroom but my experiences in this house have been far from nice. The house has major plumbing issues. The Toilet waste backs up into the tub in the main bathroom and the shower in the master bathroom every time it rains. When we use the garbage disposal sometimes the food backs up into the tub and the shower as well. One time our kitchen sink backed up and Im not even kidding you the lady at Select Property suggested that we use our shower to wash our dishes in. Our shower in the bathroom thats completely unsanitary not to mention it suggests that they expected us to just live with the issue rather than sending someone over to fix it. We have called the office to let them know about the plumbing issues in the past and all they do is send a plumber over to "fix the problem" well let me tell you the problem is no where near fixed. Just two weeks ago the water backed up in both bathrooms and overflowed all over the bathroom floor and onto the carpet in the master bedroom. The back up was so bad that it even caused damage to the walls and floors. Water began seaping through the hardwood floors and through one of the vents in the hallway. One of the worst experiences Ive ever had in my entire life. We have not been able to go into the master bedroom for two weeks now because it is contaminated and we still dont have a date for when they will begin repairs. It has been almost two years now renting through Select Property Management and the plumbing problems have been going on since the beginning. I can almost guarantee that if they had fixed the problem from the beginning instead of just having a plumber unclog it then we wouldnt have had the horrible experience we had two weeks ago. Bottom line Select Property rented us a house that half of the time doesnt have working plumbing and the other half of the time the plumbing is working just not adequately which by law makes it unsuitable to live in. So if youre thinking about renting from Select Property be prepared for the worst.
