I would give them 0 stars if possible. I went to do a smog check on my truck and didnt pass so I got everything fix and went back but to get it smog once more because it said free retest within 30 days but they said that they dont do that and that the person who put it there made a mistake and that I had to go all the way to Fair Oaks to get it done. The guy was incompetent and just plain rude.DONT GO TO THIS PLACE who knows what else they lie about. This is the worst place to go to and I truly advise you to stay away from here! Ive used Quality Tune-up in Redlands CA for over 5yrs best place ever so of course I wanted to continue in Northern Calif. These people are NON-mechanics, even the manager is bogus! He knew my tune-up wasnt done right by his guys and said I needed a Dianostic test $95, which came back stating the engine needed to be torn apart. I finally took it to a shop in West Sac (Im new to town) $280 spent on major tune-up, fuel injection cleaned and one other service (I cant recall), and the piece that comes off to do the tune-up Quality hadnt even put back on correctly, they had to pull apart with two by fours to fit it back on correctly!! Passed smog and Im back on the road again!! Stay away its not worth it. When the Manager lies to you its not worth going!

first time i walked in i got a service total of 550 i chose not to do it that day i called in a month later and they gave me a total of 430 so i go in to the shop they gave me a price of 550 so i told the guy you said that its 430 over the phone then he was a little efffy and a minute later says okay... 2 minutes later a employe walks in and asks how much is the total of the service he tells her 430 then she was talking in spanish and they changed the price to 450 and then i told her this is what i was told on the phone and your giving me three different prices and her excuse was we didnt know it was this model yet over the phone i gave him my make,model,and year the customer service is garbage 3 different prices come on now such a big rip off i recommended you to go there at your own risk acknowledging my situation.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Do NOT go here unless you want to be lied to & ripped off. Id rate it zero if i could. My sister & i brought her car in 4 days ago & was told it could be picked up that same day at 6pm, but it wasnt ready, everyday after that it was supposedly going to be ready that day but its just getting postponed til the next day, we STILL dont have the car. My friend drove by the business a few times but the car was just sitting in the back not being worked on. I called the business over 20 times & not only did i not get a response but they managed to pick up a few times then hang up right after. Soo rude to not even keep me updated on my car when i was told it would be ready that very same day. We already paid up front as well which was a huge mistake trusting this mechanic.

I bought a headlamp bulb with the intent of installing it myself. But when I saw that I would have to get UNDER THE CAR!!! to install the headlamp bulb, I decided to find a shop who could do it for me. I remembered that my sister told me Quality on Northgate are good folks, so I called. When Edwin picked up phone, it was already 4:45 PM on Saturday (They close at 5). Edwin told me I could come now, and he would get the job done. When I pulled up to the shop at 5:03 PM he took me in and had my bulb installed. Edwin took the time to give me a precise price quote on the phone, and that is what I paid. These people are very helpful, and treated me so well despite my late arrival. Quality will be my shop from now on.

under new management, got my car towed here because it wouldnt start and my battery wasnt holding a jump, they started working on it as soon as I got there. I thought I needed a new alternator and told them thats what I needed done and before they even started working on it they actually checked the alternator and turns out it was fine didnt need to be replaced and all I needed was a battery. Im definitely coming here again I felt that they were every honest and took care of what I needed to actually get done and didnt charge me for something I didnt need.. so Im giving this place 5 stars! Oh and the front receptionist was very friendly and had great customer service..

I did a lot of research before bringing my car to this location comparing to other locations. This is the most well deserved 5 star review Ive ever given. This location recently came under new management and I cannot express how happy I am with the attentive and friendly staff as well as how personable the management was. Not only that, but I came in completely convinced that I needed a brake change and they told me I didnt. They also told me that my car doesnt need the synthetic oil and recommended a cheaper one. This location is honest and will not sell you something you dont need. #customer4life

Are you kidding me "quality"........... where??? came in 20 minutes before closing and asked if they could grease the upper and lower ball joints on the driver side (not hard 2wheel drive Tahoe) he said they were about to close and besides we dont even have a grease gun HAHAHAHA "Quality and Lube" neither title fits since you dont have a grease gun. Spend two more minutes and go to Jiffy Lube they did all "11" fittings in user 5min for free. After I only wanted "2" done......

They are not a very good shop ,, all they care about is getting your money, I doubt you will be happy if you go here,, I wish that I never had let them touch my car. The lady manager is a flake and has no business dealing with the public, she seems obsessed with wanting to share all the problems she has with her male employees with you . **DO Not let them service your car,, they will claim they can do anything in order to get your money****

Rating this place 5 stars because it deserves better than 3 1/2. I rolled in on a Saturday in December with no appointment, needing a smog check before the year ended. Told the clerk I had only about an hour, he assured me they could do a smog check and oil change and have me on my way. They recommended an air filter change but there was no pressure. Had a good experience.
