Extremely disappointing cleaning job and equally disappointing customer service. We contacted Golden Shine for a standard move-out deep cleaning, but when they sent their independent contractors out, they left the house visibly dirty. When the landlord went to the house, there was dust on window sills and hand prints on the floor. The master bedroom did not appear to have been cleaned at all. The cleaners were supposed to contact us if they needed more time, so Golden Shines contractors (they dont actually do any cleaning--they just hire the job out to people) apparently thought this was sufficient. When we contacted Golden Shine about these issues, we were initially told that the cleaners were out of town and could not be back around 8pm the next day (as per their "Fix-It" policy). That time frame was unacceptable, as new residents were moving into the property. Based on that information, the landlord cleaned the areas that Golden Shines contractor didnt manage to get to. After the landlord had already started cleaning up after Golden Shine, we were contacted and told that the contractor could actually come by 12pm. We of course told them not to bother since the residence had already been cleaned. Golden Shines management is now using this bait and switch to deny us a partial refund because "the Fix-It service was declined." The management (who writes the policy) is unwilling to issue a partial refund for the partial work performed by their contractors. They are ultimately unwilling to deviate from a policy, even going so far as to offer a Fix-It opportunity after we had already informed them that the landlord would have to clean it themselves. This fix-it was offered seemingly only so that we would decline it, thus cementing Golden Shines denial of any sort of refund due to their convoluted policy. The manager (who informed me that only the owner supervises them, and that the owner was "hands off") was unwilling to issue a refund even though their contractor failed to complete the contracted work. Look elsewhere for cleaning services--even for folks with good reviews, there is no guarantee that you will get the same cleaners because Golden Shine contracts out to the lowest bidder. If/When your home is unacceptably "cleaned," the company will do nothing in order to make it right.

Terrible organization on all fronts. Im reporting this as an owner of an apartment unit requesting a move-out cleaning job and am on the verge of pressing charges. Requested cleaning remotely, with a friend doing a before and after check with pictures. 1.) Scheduled a cleaning 1 week prior, they confirmed the cleaning, but then on the day of the cleaning they forgot about the appointment. The person who I spoke with on the phone, was not responsive during this whole ordeal. 2.) Cleaner came late even after rescheduling, on top of that, directions I gave to get into my unit werent properly conveyed to the cleaner. 3.) Cleaner purportedly spent from 4pm to 2am cleaning a 2bedroom/2bath, 1200sqft unit, yet carpets in both bedrooms werent properly vacuumed, showers and baths were untouched, baseboards untouched, and living room wood floors not dusted. 4.) Cleaner took items from my home that I specifically asked her not to take. She had mentioned that she would finish up the bathrooms on the second day, and blatantly lied to my face when I asked her why they still werent clean, telling me she didnt have permission to go into my unit. Somehow, she still went into the unit that day and took a room divider. Overall, horrible, horrible company. My only explanation for the 4 stars is fake reviews.

I was looking for a cleaning service because I live with the three little pigs(true story). My roommates are beyond messy and with my busy schedule I was finding it difficult to keep up with up-keeping our large house. Im not sure why it took me so long to decide to hire a cleaning agency, but once I did I can honestly say I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner. Golden shine is not only affordable, but they are professional and courteous as well. I had to leave midway during my first house cleaning but I was able to work out details so the housekeeper could come back later. Also, there was a slight misunderstanding on timing(my fault) but after calling Golden Shine they were quick to work with my schedule and accommodate my request. Ive had a couple different housekeepers so far, but I will be sticking with Maria. She is incredibly efficient with a great eye for detail, my house never looked so good. Honestly she went above and beyond what I expected and even took the time to reorganize my disaster of a kitchen. I am very pleased with the service I had and I will continue to use this company.

So, the good first: Customer service is great, timely, pleasant. I called in the morning and they came out about 3hrs later. Wonderful! The bad second: I asked them to clean the kitchen and 1.5 baths in my 800sqft apartment...it took two ladies (mother+daughter) 3 hrs to do this. It was obvious they were just stretching it out to take 3 full hrs..and sure enough, they finished right at 3 hrs. (at about 2.5hrs in, I pleasantly asked one of the ladies how much longer. She looked at her watch and said "30 minutes!") Okay, so this wouldnt be so bad if they did a great job cleaning, right? Right, it wouldnt be bad...except they did a very poor job of cleaning. There was still grime at the base of the bathroom faucet, they couldnt remove a discoloration on the tile floor (that I later removed easily) and they didnt clean the smudges/splashes on the front of the refrigerator. I hope this was a fluke, and maybe it was, but I am very dissatisfied with the cleaning service I received -- although I was indeed satisfied with the customer service I received when scheduling the appointment.

Super disappointed! Today I had a bad experience with one of the cleaners leaving my place dirtier than before they cleaned! I gave the service a 2nd chance after advising them of all the issues from my last service. And asked that that cleaner never be assigned to me again. I ordered my next service at least 3 weeks before service date; never got a confirmation; called back day before service and didnt get a call back until after hours to tell me the cleaner I asked to never come back would be here today; they were to cancel the cleaner and didnt so he showed up and provided the same bad service! I was given a $20 credit! This is the last time I will ever use Goldenshine! I cant think of a service that has had worse service! And this is only 2 instances out of about 4-5 that I could go on about but wont! Really disappointing as I went out of my way to provide parking, easy access through our Security guard, 20% tip etc Frustrated Customer that will not use the service any more!

You might want to try another company. :-/ The cleaner, Chaz, used a dirty rag to wipe down almost everything in my home. I say "almost everything" because she did not clean or dust at least 50% of my small, 650sqft, condo. The cleaning products used smelled horrible and my entire home was in worse shape when she left. I contacted Golden Shine immediately upon returning home and they kindly offered to sent Chaz back to re-clean. Although Chaz seemed personable enough, I politely declined their offer. We contemplated asking for a different cleaner but opted to clean our home ourselves rather than continue the ordeal with someone else. In the end, I was discounted $25 off the cleaning and paid $50 instead of $75. I paid $50 to have someone come to my home and actually make it dirtier and smell worse. Again, you might be better off trying another company. I will say, the office staff Devon and Jazmine were very kind and a pleasure to speak with.
