I do not know about their work, but they are incredibly inconsiderate about parking!!! But I would not trust them to change my locks because: Just now one of their workers parked his truck in front of 2852 California St. taking up TWO parking spaces, not leaving enough space for another regular sized car to park in the space behind him. He had space in front of him to pull forward. Dark grey truck with Metro Locksmith logo. How would you ever trust someone to change your locks who, in a city like San Francisco with all its parking woes, cannot be considerate about parking and leaving his truck for the night? Ive seen this companys vans in the same type of taking up two spaces situation, also. MOVE YOUR TRUCK TO FIT INTO ONE SPACE!!! Be parking considerate for a change.

I find their attitude towards their customers to be reprehensible. They gave me a very sloppy delivery estimate on a a job because of how much they had to outsource, but when I called much later to find out what the timeline was, I was basically told that if the building had survived this long without it, it wont matter if it waits another week. If your ONLY business is helping people with security concerns, I fail to see why you would then give them grief for wanting it done as soon as possible, especially when your original estimate was a week earlier. EVERY delay was someone elses fault. I do not believe their reasons for the delays, I dont think their schedules are that inflexible, and I dont ever want to do business with them again.

Im not quite sure what parking has to do with changing locks – as the other reviewer stated. However, I do know that Metro rekeyed my home quickly and did it right, even keying an extra deadbolt that I had yet to install for no extra fee. Days later I bought a second deadbolt and was able to go into the shop and have it changed within minutes. So they may park like crap (like 99% of other SF drivers), but its not reflected in their service whatsoever.

I would give Metro Lock a full 5 stars except for the manager, Rick. He was very rude and dismissive. However, Matt was very helpful and respectful. Rick needs to take a class in customer service.
