This guy Mike literally walked around for 30 min while my car was left on the dyno with engine running.after already waiting over an hr for him to get started on my vehicle for a smog.not sure what he was doing.other than answering the phone walking back and forth eating a burrito..I came here out of convenience with it being around the corner from my place.never again will I come to an over priced shop.it was ridiculous. After I finally got up and said something to one of his guys he finally got started on my vehicle. I hate to be a bickering customer. Thats just not me.on top of everything else I was charged for a failed 1st test when I can assume most of us know it is common knowledge if u failed your test you dont pay..Do not take your vehicle to Quality car care..

You find out how good a Quality Tune-Up and Repair Shop is until you experience a possible warranty issue. Weve been taking our 2001 Van to Mike for years but early Sunday morning he was off so his well-trained team had to look over a power steering leak. The cheerful but very busy supervisor on duty quickly determined it could be related to a previous power steering rack repair and that the it could be covered by their warranty! Mike and his teams commitment-to-quality totally impressed the wife as where else can you get a expensive warranty repair done early on Sunday morning? San Joses Quality Tune-Up Shop #8 can now count my wife as a very satisfied long-time customer.

Refused to do simple smog check on my car because it would take them too long and made an excuse they didnt want to make interior of car dirty. Just an excuse for laziness and wanted to work on cars that were easy to work on. Beware this means they will only do the bare minimum if they have your car and are willing to lie as well. Rule of thumb never trust an auto mechanic who is only in his/her profession for the money and does not care about their craft. I was able to get the smog done at a different more reputable place and it took only 15min. Beware.

Wont be visiting this place anytime soon. This company decided that they would put their flyers throughout my neighborhood, including the personal carports behind all the houses. I cant tell me what upsets me more. The fact that they when onto private streets to put their flyers up. Or the fact that they dont have their hand bill permit posted making these flyers illegitimate. Or the fact that i now I have a large amount of trash all over my neighborhood. No thank you.

If I could rate it lower I would. Took my car in for a simple smog something pretty much anyone should be able to do and stated that my car failed because of a canister on the left side of the car. Well its called an oil catch can and if ur a mechanic u should know what its called and yes just called another shop and got it smogged an hour later no issues at all. Should be half a star u crooks.

I was recently here for a smog check and an oil change. I highly recommend this place. The shop manager and entire crew are courteous and professional. They also gave me some suggestions on a few improvements (no pressure) that I may want to consider in order to maintain and keep my cars performance at an optimum level. The prices are great!

I just got done with Mike at Quality car care for a smog check I got fast and friendly service mike is a great help and very professional thank you mike for the service I will be back again when my other car needs service and did I mention the price was the lowest I found in the area, yes it is a must visit for your smog check

i went to this shoot to fix the AC. The AC is still not working. They said it needs further diagnose and pay $130. They told me come back another day and charged me $50 for SERVICE CHARGE. I suggest everyone, please dont go to this shop for any service. They are ripping off people and dont know how to fix the cars.

I dont know about the quality of their work. I went there for a smog check and they told me I was next in line and would take about 30 minutes. I waited for over an hour and meanwhile saw many cars going in and out. Finally I went inside, collected my paper and left.

These guys were great. Had to do some emergency work on my van after an accident and they were very professional and communicative for all the repairs. Were able to break down the critical things vs the nice to have. Very friendly.

Mike and his crew are always professional, fair, and honest. Ive called ahead with my problems asked if I need an appt. Im always told no, just bring it in. I drop the car off in morning, walk into work. Mike calls when its done.
