For starters, they NEVER pick up their phone! Every single time I called, it was always routed to the 800 number, who of course, couldnt help me, because I needed to know, for instance, whether the hitch installation on my car was complete, or things related to that particular store. They are also incredibly unorganized and rude. When I dropped off my car for the hitch install, they tried to charge me, despite the fact that I had paid online and argued with me before finally checking that yes, I had paid in advance. The icing on the cake was when they tried to rent me a trailer in such bad condition, I wouldnt take it around the block, much less use it to move across the country as I planned. The inside of the tires was completely bald and smooth; no tread whatsoever. There was rust around the axle, even the tongue looked pretty bad. The guy working tried to convince me that while the trailer looked old, Uhaul serviced "all of the important parts". When I pointed out the SAFETY HAZARDS, he told me the trailer had been dropped off the night before and that "maybe nobody had inspected it." Of course, by this time, all the other trailers in the Bay had been rented for the weekend, and I was forced to drive to SF to get a safe one.

Arrived 1 hour after my reservation time and the trailer I rented was not available. No one bothered to alert me ahead of time. Spent 30 minutes waiting to see if they could find another one. No Luck. Was told it would be coming in soon and they would call back. Arrived at 4:30 to pick up the trailer and the reservation system was down and had to wait another 45 minutes for them to do a manual contract. Now Im 4 hours behind schedule because of them and they have the nerve to call me at 7:30 PM in the middle of my move and want me to spend another 30 minutes doing a contract over the phone now that their system is back on-line.

I came here to rent a trailer. The guy hooking it up couldnt figure out why the running lights werent coming on, so he went to the fuse box and started pulling out ECU relays while the ignition was on. Now my car has ABS, brake, 4WD, VSC, and check engine lights on. Only an idiot would pull relays over a lighting problem. Now I have to get my car fixed at the dealer. Do not go to this Uhaul for any reason. If theyre this stupid, theyre doing other stupid, dangerous things for sure.

Convenient location and good equipment, but extremely under-staffed. Ive been here 4 times in the last month snd every time Ive had to wait over 20 minutes to get help. The team are clearly working very hard; there just isnt enough of them. The service has been very good and I havent had any issues once Ive been helped, so the team seems very well trained and good at their work. Hopefully, they will get some additional help during their peak hours.

Overall this place is really good. The sales associates are friendly and know what theyre doing, the trucks Ive rented are in good shape and are available when I arrive, and they have all the moving supplies you could need in stock. I removed one star for one reason - they need more staff on the weekend. If youre picking up your truck on Saturday or Sunday give yourself an extra 20 minutes to wait in line.

It was awful, very very bad experience, we came to rent a truck, We had reservation. When we got there we asked to use bathroom, the agent Michael refused us to use the bath, they talk very bad to the customers, he selects people by race. I dont recommend someone to this place.

They make the move a very pleasant one for their clients. Good job! There is no such great moving experience with them. These guys are all polite and willing to help. I have never met moving crews who are very dedicated to their work as well as to their customer.

They went the extra mile to put my wheelchair in truck, so I could be mobile during my move. Painless rental, and easy return. Kind and courteous people. Lost one star for failure to fully explain that my rental had no dolly or ramp. That was extra.

They didnt tell us about $1.09/Mile charge. I guess we should have asked but we were in a hurry and forgot to. Please beware that they charge $1.09/Mile.
