Jeff and his team at Valley Import Center (VIC) are outstanding. I called last week to schedule what I knew would be a fairly labor-intensive service appointment -- replacing the evaporator in my Jeep. When I brought my car in, I asked Jeff whether his crew could also tackle a litany of other items (LOF, brake check service, tire balance/rotation and possible replacement, battery test, possible power steering hose leak). No problem, he said. Jeff called me later that afternoon with a complete report -- brakes were good, tires still had some life on them, battery was strong; they fixed the power steering hose leak, completed the LOF; the evaporator replacement would take a few days. Over the next few days, Jeff kept me updated of the evaporator project via text messages, even sending pictures of the dash removal process and of the leaking evaporator. I greatly appreciated these real-time updates. I asked a bunch of questions and Jeff was gracious with his time to answer them, addressing all aspects of my inquiries. I felt like a tremendously knowledgeable friend was working on my car -- meaning someone who had my best interests in mind. Jeff was genuinely invested in helping me fully understand the technical aspects of his crews work, and he was mindful about the financial, time, and logistical concerns that someone like me -- who is not a car expert -- has when taking their vehicle to an auto mechanic. When I initially brought my car into VIC, for example, Jeff offered to drive me to work. (I didnt take him up on this service because I already arranged transportation.) Most notably, Jeff and his team finished everything on time -- and did so squarely within the estimated costs he projected when I scheduled the appointment. A-plus service and customer care. It might be worth mentioning that I dont live in the Bay Area -- and I have a fantastic neighborhood mechanic along the Central Coast who regularly services my Jeep. But replacing the evaporator is a big job -- and someone in my family strongly recommended I consider taking my Jeep to Jeff and Valley Import Center to tackle it. I happened to be in the East Bay for an extended visit and am so glad I heeded this advice. Ill definitely be a returning customer, and in the meantime offer my enthusiastic endorsement of Valley Import Center for anyone in the greater San Ramon/Danville/Walnut Creek area who is looking for a reliable, trustworthy, technically expert, and thoughtfully communicative mechanic.

Great service, reasonable rates, convenient, and very professional staff. After researching the shop, I was already impressed with their credentials including the Diamond Certification. I bought in my 2004 BMW X5 to have an expensive part of the engine repaired. The cost was less than the E. Bay BMW dealer and the repair was completed right on time and the SUV is running great! So after the very positive first visit with San Ramon Valley Import Center, I brought in my second car, a 2009 Civic Hybrid, to have minor services done, when went very well, again. Then being very satisfied with the shop, I brought in my 3rd vehicle, a 1998 Toyota Sienna, to have a series of work done like rear shocks, side auto window, dashboard lights, dome lights etc. Everything was repaired at a very reasonable price and the van now runs much better than before. Any questions/concerns that I had before and after the repairs, were professionally answered and taken care of. This is a great auto repair shop. Not only can I get my vehicles repaired at a reasonable cost, they have a professional staff, courtesy shuttle, and a 2 year warranty that no other shops that I know of has. I have total satisfaction and peace of mind after bringing my vehicles here for repair!

The team at Valley is very honest and does exactly what they say they are going to do. We have been coming here for years and their work has always been excellent. (I check over my vehicles carefully after any repair work, every job at form Valley has been done perfectly). Jeff and rest of team are always friendly, make excellent recommendations. They never try to “up sell” things you do not need. If they say you need to fix something on your vehicle you better get it repaired or a tow is in your future. The whole team at Valley is focused on keeping your car on the road at the lowest cost of ownership. They don’t provide ego boosting frills (and don’t have to charge for them either), just solid work at fair prices. Valley’s work is very reasonably priced and is by far the lowest cost option. The do not play the “low price game” like some other shops in the area. They quote a price to fix your car correctly the first time at fair price. Valley is much cheaper than the dealer for any job and their work quality is better. Supporting a quality local business that is part of our community is a better than going to the dealer anyway. The cars we have had serviced at Valley are a Mercedes and Honda.

This is the 2nd year that I brought my car Valley Import Center in San Ramon for an annual checkup and some major electronic repairs. A critical electronic component needed to be replaced but was not available until the end of the week. By the end of the week, I was informed to wait for another week as the component had not been shipped from Germany to the supplier in Concord yet. By the end of next week, the supplier still had not had the component yet. On the following week the component arrived and I got my car back. I was lucky not needing a car during those 2 weeks. I wished that I have had my car to drive while the part was being ordered (I dont know, may be its just too much trouble for the shop to re-install the old component while the part was being ordered). My car was fixed to my satisfaction. There was no unnecessary repair or extra charge. The car was taken to a car wash before giving back to me. I lived in Danville about 7 miles away and was given a ride to my home after dropping my car and a ride from my home to pick up the car. Its very easy to make an appointment and the staff were courteous. The price was reasonable.

My BMW needed a new radiator so I called around for quotes. Jeff from Valley Import was extremely professional and was happy to give me a quote over the phone. The amount he gave me was the complete price with taxes included. I hate it when you get a quote but the tax is not included as that could be a substantial amount depending on the services being performed. Valley Imports price was very competitive so I chose to have the work done and couldnt have been happier. I was able to email Jeff the night before bringing in my car so that he could have the part ready in the morning. I dropped off my car, rode my bike home and rode back in the afternoon when the job was completed (earlier than expected too.) The final invoice was the same price as the quote-no extra parts or materials were necessary as everything else looked fine. I will happily return when I need work done on my car and Im very happy to have found this repair shop in my community. Thank you Jeff and Valley Import Center.
