A friend lives in the area and while I visited for a couple of weeks went to the post office 2 times. I saw long lines, not unusual, an enormous volume of packages and parcels brought in after hours and incorrectly carried into and left in the facility by patrons, and the most outstanding customer service and hustle of any postal employee ever in 55 years. Courteous, thoughtful, respectful, kind and hustling to help customers out and in after close. With a SMILE! Generally busy hour post office visits from small to large towns Ive been in are a bit arduous. This wasnt pleasure, but watching this employee kick serious A** was. The best Ive ever seen. (Location has large number of Ebay sellers in area, reason for so many packages dropped like regular mail.)

Its sad to see the traditional mail service fall apart. I understand e-mail is free, and theres a total loss in revenue, but its sad to see peoples jobs go. I dont blame this understaffed facility. Theres only 1-2 tellers to ship your package at the front desk. The service is good, although a little slow. Prices are on the rise, but the people are fairly nice. I was really upset about how long it took for me to speak to a supervisor. I had gotten there early to pick up a package, but they had to have a supervisor ask about it, which resulted in 45 minutes of waiting. The line behind me grew extremely restless. It wasnt a very good experience, but thats because the place is extremely understaffed.

Broken air conditioning... Its as if Satan himself is in charge of ensuring a hellish experience for all. They lost my pickup confirmation receipt. I handed it to an employee - she went in back for 20 min and returned without the receipt or the package. I couldnt communicate with her either as she didnt speak English at all - not even Spanish. Not sure how you can pass a Civil Service exam without rudimentary communication skills (or maybe, thats the point). Ben Franklin, I can hear you rolling over in your grave. The post office you founded is no longer... I take solace in the fact that if you were alive today, youd welcome the communication medium that is the internet.

Absolutely do not care about customer service! They dont care about missing packages although it was clear that they lost the package coz i received delivery slip. They simply said contact the sender and ask them to file a claim. Wow! If anything, ask for Allen. He was the only one who shows some concern and look for my package which he eventually found! Thank you! Who ever had my route at the first delivery attempt did not care enough to put the package at where it was suppose to be. And the counter lady that was helping me when i tried to pick up after did not care enough to look else where.

Ive been going to this post office for 4 years I have NEVER had a bad experience ! Every single person that works there is great ! Friendly and always very helpful ! Never wait more than 10 min when its busy ! Thats a big deal with so many people waiting , of coarse ur always gonna see a freak make a bid deal cause they have to wait 2 min , and of coarse its always someone at the end of the line , who just came in ! Love this place , I think of all the Usps locations from Valencia to North Hollywood , This is the Best Place ! And they even speak fluent English ! CAN NOT BE THIS PLACE ! ☺

I understand that it is not easy to work at the Post office and that for all its faults, we still have the best mail delivery system in the world for a country this size, but this office keeps delivering my mail to my address on Ventura Boulevard, not my street! Never have lost so much mail. My husband says that if we complain it will probably just get worse. He is from NY and maybe it works that way there. I am from CA and I really hate this. From the rest of the reviews here, it looks like he is right. Is there someplace else to complain that oversees this branch?

All the staff seems to be friendly. There is a few exceptions some tall large bald guys that never smile. They always have an attitude. I see so many bad reviews with the same guys so apparently their supervisors dont care that they have no customer service skills, and no manners. Just very bossy. They are always on the left side. Especially the white guy! Does he ever have a good day? If he is going to be so serious and tough acting, he needs to join the Army!

My W2 form was delivered OPEN exposing my social security number. I tried calling to inform someone in authority that my mail had been tampered with but no one answered the phone after thirty rings. Someone answered and then hung up the phone TWICE. About a month ago, note were placed on all of the mailboxes advising customers to deposit their mail inside of the office because it was being tampered with. There is some inside CRIME going on in this post office.

The best post office in Los Angeles. They are courteous, always friendly, always helping out everyone. I wish they had a few more stations for Postal Workers, because it does get backed up, but thats like any other post office. Ive lost only 2 packages in the last 5 years here. Before that I would go to the one off Laurel Canyon and they lost 10 of my packages in less than 6 months. I ship thousands of packages a year, so losing 2 isnt so bad.

My mail had gone missing for a few weeks. When I called to find out what was going on the supervisor "found" a few of my packages sitting in another persons mailbox. Then a week later the same thing happened and another package was "found" only after I went there to figure out what was going on with my mail. I am still missing a few packages. I believe employees are stealing mail there and have since moved to another post office.

They have been losing my mail and sending it to the wrong address for some time now. This is becoming very problematic because I do not get my checks on time or bills for that matter so my life has become hectic. The manager overseeing my delivery man (Wilson) is horrible and does not care about what you are going through. They all put up excuses and then magically the mail appears a few weeks later.

Mail with my full name and address are being returned to the senders. Also, the postal worker has made off with my package. It was neither delivered to me, left at the post office, nor was it returned to the merchant. Im not sure how to avoid using a particular post office, but I may need to keep my PO Box in Los Angeles.

Its more than disaster doing bz with this office! I made change of address just two weeks ago still more than 30% of my mail mis-delivered to my old address. Today at 9:00 am I tried to call their number nobody care to pick up; but first call to the one in Ventura Bl, Sherman Oaks, someone was there to answer my call!!

No wonder this place rates so low. Poor customer service. These people are rude. They lost my mail and didnt even have the decency to apologize. Then I held the door for the guy (employee) who was bringing in the mail cart and he just walked right in. No "thank you" given. Barely looked at me. Wow. Just wow...
