My wife and I have lived in the area for 3 years now and have been to the majority of the different mechanics either here in Solana Beach, up in Encinitas, or in around Sorrento Valley/UTC-- these guys hands down provide the best service for the best price. We recently had to have a number of things done to my wifes Audi as it past the 100K mile mark, Im pretty knowledgable with cars and after calling three or four different shops to price things out these guys definetely gave the most honest, straight forward estimate. They were also cheapest on a line by line comparison. Thanks a ton and you can count on us to continue coming to to you guys when we need auto work done!

My husband & I have been taking our MBZs to CIA for 2 years now & couldnt be more pleased! We have all the trust and confidence in their business, integrity and repair work. From routine maintenance to emergency repairs - the work has been excellent. Very good value for our money and never over kill. They never try to push work on you that isnt really necessary. They always make us feel our best interest is their best interest. I cant say enough about Bryan and all the people I have met at CIA. So glad we found them!!!

Ive used California Import Auto for at least 10 years and have always been 100% happy with their service. They are always willing to take the time to explain my options. They never seem to mind my dumb questions. Ive recommended them to several of the people I work with and theyve all thanked me for it. I got so sick of the dealership lying to me, and trust me these guys are the real deal.

The guys are California Import Auto are the best! I have lived in the area for almost 20 years and have taken my cars here the entire time. What I appreciate most is the honest advice – they tell me what my car needs and what can wait. Their work is fast and they have guaranteed everything they’ve ever done. I couldnt have felt better about leaving my car with these guys. Excellent service from the time I walked in the door. Not only did they fix my car, but they called me several times to assure me what the mechanic found, they provided a courtesy car so I could get back home. These guys are honest and solid! Ill never go back to the dealership.

This is a great shop. I brought in a Prius with a warning light. They looked at the error codes and didnt find anything, so they waived the diagnosis fee -- no charge.
