First of all, I have been using computer link for some time and have had no issues until recently. My daughters tablet would no longer hold a charge so we took it in to the computer link staff to have it repaired. A few days later we checked in with computer link as to the status of the repair. We were told the battery was no good and needed to be replaced. We were told on two occasions the new battery they obtained was also bad. One month later with numerous promises to provide an update as to what was happening, we got my daughters tablet back. I was a little irritated but understood it may have taken them extra extra long to obtain a new battery. I can get one from amazon in three days free shipping but, whatever. I probably should have fixed it myself! Moving on, the tablet now holds a charge, mission accomplished. Not so fast... My daughter told me her tablet wont connect to the internet. After examining the tablet the 64gb sd card was missing! Still not the end of the world. My wife called them up and they said they would look for it and call us back the next monday. No phone call, which seems to be a common practice for the staff at computer link. My wife called them, they claimed they had no idea where it was and refused to replace it. Quite a waste of time and money followed by copious ammounts of frustration. I will NEVER USE COMPUTER LINK again.

They have been holding my computer for 7 days with no sign of progress, not returning our phone calls and pleas for explanations for why no report has been made. When they promised a span of 1-3 days, I didnt expect them to have been lying to me. Now they are forcing us to pay diagnostics when they didnt diagnose anything. They just want to take out my hard drive and throw in an expensive one that I dont want or need. Dont let them scam you too. I am filing a report with the BBB and the police department and paying under protest. Let me also say, I saw them abusing my computer by forcefully setting it down to read the serial number, I should have taken it away from them, and brought my computer to Silicon Valley. Now my files might be loss, and I am very disappointed. Its so hard to find people you can trust.

I have used this place before and had excellent service with our computer repairs, and did not hesitate to use them again for service repairs on my kids tablet. It took them a month to repair it due to a vendor sending faulty batteries. Once a good battery was received tablet was working again. However, when I received the tablet back our micro sd card was missing!!! I called spoke with the owner and he said no worries if we cant find it we will replace it just bring your tablet by today. Took it in and then got told we never touched your sd card to so the service repairs and will not replace it at all!!! Dont tell a customer your going to do something and not follow thru!!! Bad customer service on their part. Will not use them again...what information or pictures did they get from our sd card?

I had a very good experience here. Didnt know what to expect since Ive never really had any computers or laptops repaired. Ive always had my electronics repaired by the manufacturer under warranty. But rather than drive to the nearest apple store, i came to computer link which was recommended to me by an apple care advisor. So I went and Tony the gentleman who assisted me was very friendly and helpful. He asked a few questions and checked my macbook air right in. Dropped it off Saturday, he told me diagnostics would be run on Monday and laptop would be ready Tuesday. Surely enough his words were true. Laptop was repaired around noon. Overall great first experience, would recommend to others. Laptop was in same condition as i dropped it off in.

I came in with hardware issues to the extent that I thought I would have to start a whole new build or get a Dell or something. I had confidence in the shop from the moment i walked in; it was exactly what you want to see in a computer shop. They diagnosed the hardware and resolved all of my problems. Other reviews have said that they give optimistic time estimates, and I had a similar experience, I dropped it off Friday and they said they would start work on Saturday, but my computer did not reach the front of their queue until Monday. I did not mind, and they were patient with me when I called for progress updates, and they did a much better job than the first person I took it to.

Went there for the first and only time to fix my new macbooks hinge. They were "too swamped" to accept my repair. This doesnt make sense. They could have put me at the end of the queue and made it clear that it would take a few days, but they chose to refuse my business simply because my repair wouldnt have made them any money. Well, guess what, Computer Link, now, not only are you not getting my business for any (more expensive) future repairs, but youre also getting a negative review, which will probably cost you more than just fixing the dang hinge would have.

Had some work done on a loose laptop hard drive. Told me should be done in a few hours. They had a hiccup but was told the drive would be ready the next morning. Kept their word about the price stated the previous day even though they had to put extra time on it. Have used them a few times in the past, not that they know me from anyone else. The trick is to have some patience when it comes to computers. The shop needs to learn not to promise more than is realistic with turn around times. Overall would use them again.

Work on computers myself mainly as a non-profit. But will often times not have time during the week so i recommend this place to friends. Based on the feedback i get everyone i recommend seems to be satisfied. Also order all of my parts here and the owner Tony is always really nice and helpful and will often match a price on many items. I really recommend bringing your pc or mac here for repair.

This is the best place to have your computer repaired that I have ever found. I have been going to Computer LInk for years and years and would never ever think about going any place else. They have great people working for them. I always ask for an estimate before work is done. If you think they are bad, just take your computer to Staples, or Best Buy. Good luck!!! Tom S.

A rip off. My computer wasnt charging anymore and thus I sent it to them to give me a diagnostic check and to fix it. The man said there was nothing wrong with the laptop, and still charged me 60+ dollars for a simple diagnostic test. There are plenty of places in town that will do a diagnostic test for free. Avoid at all costs.

Repairs on laptop were supposed to take 2 days. Took 2 weeks. No communication, no estimate.Got the laptop home finally only to discover that the DVD player no longer works and one of the USB ports is ruined.Oh, forgot to mention, they lost my power cord and had to give me a new one.
