I left with mixed feelings, but mostly bad. Seems to me like software is his specialty. The first question I asked him was "how will you diagnose the motherboard?" I explained that I had tested several windows installs. For the first three days he insisted that it was my windows, then he said it was my ram. then he said it was one ram slot, then he said it was the motherboard (remember, i said that first), then he said hed made it worse, and would charge me to get it back to the state I dropped it off in. he said i could get it by Tuesday, and he would recommend that i get a new motherboard after that! he said he would also be willing to install a new motherboard... but i had lost confidence in him, i called it off, and he was rather terse. I would never do business with him again. Got my pc back in a worse state than it had arrived in and he charged me for it. That does not sound like a free diagnostic to me! He also scratched my case, which is kind of a showy case, and he should have taken greater care with it. My frustration with the service is not a matter of impatience, but rather that he called me back three times to tell me he had resolved the problem when he had merely adjusted it. My mother board was going bad and it is not his fault that it was getting worse in his care, but a professional would admit it when a problem is beyond them. I got my PC fixed by a shop down Pacific. They replaced my motherboard and tested each ram stick individually and found one that was damaged (2gb not 4gb) and I am currently running my same install of windows from before my BSOD without issues. I was debating what to do about my laptop, as the fan had stopped working and the laptop was shutting down when it became too hot. The phone was answered on the first call by a live person, he gave me the best over-the-phone prognosis he could, and I was all better just a little later that afternoon - knowledgeable, accommodating, and made me feel much more confident then Best Buys pc repair department did...who wont even talk to you until you bring it, pay a standard diagnostic fee, and spend an indeterminable amount of time waiting. My sons laptop was sitting and collecting dust for a few months before I found Stockton PC Repair. The system would not boot up. Raphael looked into several inexpensive possible causes before determining that a new motherboard would be the best way to fix it. I appreciated him looking into the lower priced options, and to my surprise he didnt even charge me an arm and a leg to fix the motherboard. Great service I had a bad virus so I called Stockton PC Repair and a tech came out in the next hour and got me back on line fast and for a great price. I will call when I need help again.

I came home and found a virus on my computer and Stockton PC repair was there to help. he got rid of the virus and gave me a good anti virus program to keep it from happening again.
