Mark and all the folks at Preferred Auto are the best. Since i have had a couple German cars lately i havent been there for a year or two. When i brought in a used Acura for them to check before i bought, they did an extremely thorough check, and though it was low miles, the car was older and needed more work than i wished to do. The charge was more than reasonable, i would have been happy even if it had been 50% higher for the work done. They are always honest and fair and look out for their customers first. They clearly know that is what has made them so successful. THE BEST! Wish they worked on German sheet metal!!

Mark has taken care of my car from the first oil change. With 180,000+ miles on my car, the engine light came on. It was the catalytic converter. Lexus was charging $4,000 for parts alone. Mark purchased one piece of it from Lexus, but had the other two configured elsewhere. Saved me at least $2,000. It is the first major repair on this car. I believe its run so well these fifteen years is all due to him and his teams excellent care. Thank you Mark, Anthony and the team!

10 Star Service!! 10 Star results!! Brought in my Ford Expedition with a misfire issue that the dealership couldnt figure out and wanted to overcharge me to diagnose. I then went to the experts at Preferred. It did take some work and time to figure it all out but Mark Miller, Anthony and the rest of the team figured it out and my car runs like new again! This is one of the most honest, caring shops I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I been going here for many years now with American, Japanese and German cars and trucks. I only wish he still worked on the German stuff. I have several vehicles and put about 60,000 per year on them. Ive gone other places using coupons but always came back to Mark.

I have had some bad experiences in the past. It happens. I am so pleased with Preferred Auto Body! I can trust what they are telling me and that they are not feeding me some hype. I highly would recommend them if you are searching for someone to trust and you know will look at for the best interest of you and your car.

Follow up: After reading the above review, the owner Mark offered to refund the cost of the fuel injector cleaning which started the problem with my car; I give him credit for that. Unfortunately the cost of repairing the car was significantly more than what it was worth and I ended up junking the car.

Wow! So glad I found this place. I have an older model Honda Accord and they actually looked over the entire car! Not like a dealership who would just look at a chart and only focus on what the chart tells them. Preferred Auto actually looked at the car!

Horrible service. Waited 2 hours for an oil change, then when I got home and let the car sit there was oil all over my drive way. Worst shop in thousand oaks. Should have taken my car to jiffy lube.
