They are efficient and most of them are friendly. Weve never had anything lost or damaged (we ship antiques) and we have mailed hundreds of packages from here. Shipped to europe and asia many times without any problems. Many of them are pretty friendly, particularly Carlito, hes my favorite. PS: To you guys who cant reach them by phone. Maybe the number is wrong, ever think of that? Silly. BTW, I go to the post office several times a week every week and have used many post offices throughout the bay area. This one is my favorite.

Is it any wonder that you can never reach anyone that theyre losing their duffs to the internet? Ive been directed by the Postal Service Inspectors Office to call my Postmaster to report fraud and he/she is nowhere to be found. The recorded message keeps you on a hairy go round until you give up and hang up. I dont have an alternative ext.# to give instead of the postmasters number thats listed, so why ask? If you dont live anywhere near the post office, then your phone call is replaced by a drive and the added expense of gas.

This is the biggest postal office in Union City, with good service facilities except for the DROP BOX inside when you enter the glass door in front, until now nobody couldnt use drop box for bigger size. For the past 4 weeks, its written "OUT OF ORDER". I got small priority box of 6"x6" that usually fits in the steel drop box. You have to wait for the counter to open at 9am to give your parcel especially if you are in a hurry in the morning. It seems its hard for them to have it repaired.

9 out of 10 times my packages get delivered to my address and its always a important expensive item that is misdelivered my regular mail is always getting handed to me by my neighbors because it gets delivered to them . Do the mail carriers need glasses or contacts or are they just lazy and not doing there job correctly .I complain but It does no good then I notice for a couple of weeks everything is fine because my carrier went on vacation WTF.

Worst USPS in the area! Bordering scam. Horribly rude customer service. Sophie and her supervisor Gill insisted on charging for scanning prepaid packages, which is against what USPS states on the official website (Google "misinformation on USPS tracking corrected and click on the official USPS page). I cant help but wonder why the fee ends up going. Avoid this place if you can. If you cant avoid it, report their misconduct to authorities.

I have been here a dozen times and the staff is as helpful and informative as you could ever expect or hope. Parking is easy. I have been in and out most times in under 5 minutes even during weekday lunch hours. No idea why people rate this so low! That is probably just the nature of most people only reviewing online when they are unhappy. Anyway, here I am voicing my support. Good post office! No complaints.

My package was at this post office and for some reason never completed its journey to my house as I found out on tracking info. But when I went to pick it up the woman refused to look telling me that it has to be at Hayward usps. Not true and I ended up wasting an hour of my time driving back and forth. Seems they cant even handle the simple task of being a post office

They leave a note on my door telling me I can pick up a registered letter TODAY. I get to the Post Office and they refuse to release it until TOMORROW saying mailman still has it. I request a supervisor and they say they are out to lunch. They take my number but never call me. I try to call them but I get a recorded message saying they are unavailable ALL DAY!!!!

If I could rate no stars, I would. What post office cant answer a simple call during office hours? Ive called multiple times and party is unavailable.. Also heard from others that they never answer calls. Horrible service.

Never pick up I have to call the 800 # they also hang up!!! They say they deliver my packages yet I never see them in my door or mail box. They lose my packages all the time worst post office ever
