I called and spoke with a tech named Mike. I was calling because my boss asked me to compare rates at various local computer repair places. I had eight categories I was hoping to get information about: diagnosis, OS install, virus removal, and so on. Mike became unpleasant very quickly, and kept insisting that everything was a flat rate of $69 (in answer to my question if there was a per-hour rate for repairs, and in answer to my question about the price of an OS install). When I asked about the cost of application installs, he told me to check the website. I already had, but the links to pricing were not functioning. When I told him this, he became even more unpleasant and said he couldnt discuss pricing issues over the phone. I asked if there was anyone else at the shop I could speak with, and he hung up on me! I called back, and attempted to explain my situation again: "I dont have a computer that needs to be repaired; Im trying to compare prices for some general computer services at the request of my boss." Mike then told me, and I quote, "Why dont you get a camera, come down here, and take a picture of the pricing menu." I didnt think Id heard him correctly, so I asked, "Are you telling me to come to your shop with my camera and take a picture of a list of prices?" He confirmed this. I asked, "You cant just read those prices off to me right now?" He could not. He repeated several times, "I dont have time for this," and then finally told me to call back after 2pm to talk with his assistant. I asked if he was the manager and he said he was one of the assistant managers. This was one of the more extreme cases of poor customer service that Ive experienced in a long time. Perhaps theyre nicer in person, but they do NOT like to talk about prices over the phone.

My HP laptop has been dead for about 2 years because my graphic card was not working and I have not found any shops that were able to offer a good service with a good warrenty and a good price. Geeksrus is the place to go if you have any computer problems ! They fixed my computer in 2 days and it worked perfectly after. The service came with a 90 day warrenty and since my chip died on me again (NOT a problem with their service but a problem with the chip itself) they repaired it with no hassle and no questions within the same day. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. The staff is great and very friendly. They are also very knowledgable about what they do. If I ever have any problems with my computer again I will definitely go to them !!

My computer registry was messed up and I could not use my computer at all. I had heard horror stories of people trying to fix the registry. I took it to Geeks R Us, they told me what they would charge to examine it and that that initial amount would go towards any repairs if I chose to have them fix it. The amount of time it took to repair was less than what they had said. And when I got the computer home it worked like a charm. I have already recommended them to three people. Prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly, they do not treat you like an idiot just because you never learned to speak computerese, and I cannot shout their praises loud enough. Barbara Marzec

These guys r the best! THEY CAN FIX ANYTHING! first i took in my iPod and they fixed my iPod jack, the diagnostic was included in the price. Next i took in my ps3 after getting the yellow light of death. I took it in, he fixed it, it was up and running for about a month and died. BUT, these guys have incredible service! keep ur receipt and u can take it in again and again, as i did as my ps3 kept dying again. the guy must have worked on it 4 more times after the initial repair for absolutely free! and with a good attitude. finally got it up and running. THESE GUYS R awesome! anything wrong with any of ur technology? take it to these guys.

MONEY HUNGRY!!!- FULL OF LIES I had my Dell repaired twice, first time, all went well second time they gave me a "new" hard drive and updated all my software. Within a week my computer was giving me a blue screen error. I called them and emailed them about my concerns and they never got back to me. I had to go to ITWORKS and the guy there told me (sean) told me the "new" hard drive geeks had given me was actually a re-burished one from another messed up computer... Geeks knew my computer was beyond repair and refused to tell me so, and made me keep spending money i didnt have!! DONT TRUST THEM!! SEEK OTHER REPAIR SHOPS!!!

I was referred by my sons teacher to try Geeks. He told me how great and knowledgeable they were so I thought Id give them a try. I usually do not write much reviews but the experience I had with Martin and Ricardo was unbelievable. Ive taken my computer to other places before but NEVER did I get this kind of quality service like I did with them. Ricardo, was very clear and detailed with the problem I had with my motherboard and explained ways I can avoid the overheating problem from occuring. I had no idea a motherboard can be repaired. They saved me $300 from replacing my motherboard. Im very pleased!!!!

These guys are great! They repaired my computer in a timely fashion and every time I have gone there they have been honest and upfront with me! I am very cautious and observant when it comes to dealing with people. These guys are up there when it comes to service. Add Geeks R Us Computer Repair to your visit/call list when looking to get your computer needs serviced. You wont be disappointed! I have not been disappointed along with my 2 family members and a couple friends who have had their ipods fixed there!

I found Geeks R Us in the phone book and couldnt be happier with them. They were able to recover all the data off my dead hard drive and at a very reasonable price. Plus, Mike gave me free advice on how to resolve an issue I was having with my laptop (which works fine now). Everyone was nice and professional. I would go back there again if I had computer problems and I would also recommend them to anyone who needs computer help! --Desiree

I picked Geeks R Us out of the phone book to repair a laptop power jack, and am very glad that I did. They had my computer fixed the next day. They were easy to communicate with, called promptly, and did thorough work for a good price. I would absolutely bring my other computers to them, should it become necessary. I was worried about picking a good repair place. My experience exceeded my expectations of friendliness and professionalism.

Geeks R Us is a great business! I knew exactly what was wrong with the computer and called over 15 businesses, all of them said they wouldnt do anything for me until I paid them a $75 - $100 diagnostic fee. Geeks R Us told me exactly what my problem was, and how much it would cost, over the phone! I highly recommend this location to anyone who needs inexpensive but quality repairs.
