My car was stolen from Autoworks Service and Repair on Sunday night between 5pm when I dropped it off and 1:15am when I drove by to check on it to find it gone. It was then returned back to the mechanics by 6am Monday morning being verified by the dispensary cameras across the parking lot. At 7:41am my husband drove by to see if the car was returned and maybe drove home by a service member to get a feel for what we told him was going on with the car, the car was there and he verified it with a picture text to calm me down. At around 1:30 pm Monday I again drove by the shop to see if my car was being serviced to find the license plate ripped off and crunched and no license plate frame around it. At this point my husband had just called to ask if the person that drove the car home last night figured out the problem. My husband was told that nobody drove the car home and the key was just laying on the floor and not in the envelope that we put them in at drop off. After informing the mechanic that we drove by at 1:15 am and the car was gone we were told that it must have been stolen and then returned

I went to get an alignment. I was in the waiting room and I heard them drive my car onto the rack. I have an aftermarket exhaust so it has a distinct sound. 20 minutes later the guy comes out and says they dont have the software to align my car. They only have the 2011 software. I emphasized that it was fine because my model year is the exact same car. They insisted they couldnt do it. They already had my car pulled up right to the front door valet style which I thought was odd. I went home. Later that afternoon I find that my lower front bumper was cracked and scraped. It was obvious these guys did the damage when they put my car on the alignment rack. The whole story about the software was just a way to get me out of there as quickly as possible. Very dishonest way to do business. If you make a mistake then own up to it. I would never trust these guys with my vehicle.

These guys are awesome! I have had such bad experiences with mechanics, lying to me and purposely breaking parts on my car only to have me pay to fix it. Autoworks is awesome and honest and they dont take advantage of someone who doesnt understand much about cars. I took my old car in and they were honest about a part that broke, that another mechanic had actually lied to me about. I recently brought a car I was considering buying in to them to check it out. They didnt charge me because it didnt take long to look at the car. I definitely recommend autoworks. Theyre all very nice, honest and trustworthy. And they have very convenient hours!

I have never wrote a review before but this place kills it... My car would not start the other day and I called Autoworks and the guys said it sounded like an alternator. The guy said it would be $325 to replace the alternator if that was the problem. Got the car to them and found out it was only a fuse. I was expecting to pay $325 but was shocked when they called me and said after the check out I only had a blown fuse. So after everything they charged me $47.50 check out and told me that would be credited towards my next repair. Plus they replaced my brake light for free. Great service and I will be back for anything else I need...

Great service! Prices are a bit better than most... Vehicle broke down a few blocks away (fuel pump died). They didnt really have time that day, but squeezed me in anyway at 3:00PM and had it fixed before 5:30PM. They were also $65 cheaper than other places. They also do oil changes VERY cheap. $29 for synthetic in my GMC truck. Alignments are cheap too... cant remember the exact price I think it was around $50. Lastly, they are right across the street from old Chicago and if you love beer, that is a great place to wait it out while your car is being worked on! :)

This Place is a a TOTAL SCAM!!! I went here thinking something was wrong with my Ecu in my Truck, and since i thought that was the problem they quoted me $945 for a new Ecu plus programming. I felt something was Odd about the price and told them I would come back. I towed my Truck back home and researched the problem myself. Long story short my Truck wouldnt start because my Fuel line near my gas tank had a crack in the metal tubing. I went to U pull U pay, Bought a rubber tubing for about $3 and Ive been driven it going on a year now, No problems.

STAY FAR AWAY! NIGHTMARE! Ive been going to this place for about 3 years. They used to be good. Ive been in three times in the last week, they had me take off work promising to take care of it, 3 times, and they never even touched it! Sat in the parking lot each time.. no call no nothing When I come to pick it up 5 min before the place closes I get snarky punk kids running the place telling me a check engine light is beyond there scope, no joke. Bottom line place has gone to crap, stay far away nothing but a total nightmare.

Great Experience! First off Nick and Johnny worked every angle to save me as much money as possible. I came to them the 1st time because my heater had gone out. They diagnosed the problem in no time, and informed me Id need a new heater core (which apparently is quite labor intensive. Trust me I checked... it is!). Autoworks gave me a quote to fix the core... But being a diligent consumer, I began shopping around friends of friends to try and get the best deal I could. The best I found was roughly $1400

Great customer care. Although there were some delays in getting my car fixed, these guys were very honorable and helped me out in a big way. After my warranty company refused to pay for anything that was wrong with my 08 jetta, I was able to work out a solid plan of action on which parts i need fixed and which can wait. The upfront honesty and knowledge nick had, definitely refreshed my expectations in auto care. These guys do the jib, and they do it right.
