If it was possible to rate bellow one star this place would be far into the negatives. My girlfriend put new tires on her car and decided to take advantage of their $40 alignment coupon. She made an appointment and they claimed to have done the alignment unfortunately i was not able to pick the car up to make sure they had completed the work to my liking before paying them and the car drove just as shity as it did when we took the car in. I called and was told that I wouldn’t be able to bring the car back tell Monday and made another appointment. When the car was brought back the immediately pointed out a broken hub cap that has been there since we owned the car, and told us that someone hit a curb over the weekend and that it wasn’t like that when we brought the car in the first time. After convincing them that it was like that they pulled the car into the shop and “determined” that the right front wheel was bent and told me that I needed to pay for another alignment. “are you kidding me you claim the wheel is bent and you suggest another alignment as the fix???” It was obvious that this guy was trying to take advantage of someone he thought didn’t know anything. After I once again convinced him that you cannot balance a bent wheel and that the car dosent shake or rattle he then tried to tell me that the tire was defective. We installed the tires on Wednesday and had the car in on Friday how in the world would they be defective by now. THESE GUYS HAVE NO PROBLEM PULLING YOUR CAR IN PRETENDING TO DO WORK TO IT THEN COLLECTING YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU HUNG OUT TO DRY. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN AND I SUGGEST YOU STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM IT AS YOU CAN!!!! THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE!

These guys are reliable affordable and accountable. Ive taken our family cars there for a few years now. Ive only ever had one problem. A wheel was not bolted back on correctly after a tire rotation. I noticed it shortly after driving away when the wheel began to shimmy. I pulled off the road and called the shop. They offered to get the vehicle towed in, but I said I wasnt far and thought I could make it. I was the last appointment of the day and everyone had gone except the manager who was horrified that the vehicle left the shop in that condition. He apologized and immediately began inspecting for any damage the error might have caused. He showed me there was not any and then fastened the wheel back on correctly. After he was finished, he told me that one of the lug nuts was missing as a result. He ordered a replacement part from the manufacturer and called me when it came in. When I went in to have it put back on, he assured me that the issue had been addressed with the employee who worked on my truck that day. Then he handed me vouchers for some free oil changes. Of course, you never want your doctor or your mechanic to make an error, but everyone does eventually. I felt they were concerned with my safety offering the tow, concerned with my property ordering the parts and letting me inspect for damages and concerned to continue to earn my business offering the vouchers and explaining steps taken to prevent the error from happening again. So, they kept my business and have continued to earn it ever since.

I decided to take my car here after all of the positive reviews. I had the passenger side axle and joint replaced, as well as an oil change. After receiving my car back from the shop, I noticed a huge oil stain on my driveway. So I immediately contact the shop and am told to bring it in. After they get the car up and look, it is determined that I need a new oil filter adapter...I tell them that I did not have any leaking problems prior to bringing in my car for an oil change. The gentlemen working proceeds to tell me there was no oil change done on this car and they would not touch that part of the car, even with replacing the axle and joint. I tell him that that my "Change oil" symbol is no longer on, and I had been charged for an Oil change..He states "Oh maybe he just reset it"...they bring the car down and they check the oil..a worker says that it looks like fresh oil, and perhaps they did not replace the filter..or that whoever did my oil changed just "topped it off"....Proceeds to tell me they are going to put on a new filter and he will check on prices for Labor and parts to add the new oil filter adapter....advises that the new part will be $130, plus labor...No thank you! You have already lost my trust as a customer, I have already paid over $400 for repairs, and as stated prior...my car did not have a leak prior to bringing my car in.

I have been going here for 5 years with my 3 cars and while Tyler was manager, always received excellent service. Since Tyler has left it has been a nightmare. I brought my car in for a thermostat issue, which was fixed, but when I picked it up my heater wasnt working. Brought it back to fix the heater and nearly $1,000 later, Im informed that the heater still doesnt work but they fixed some other issues that I had approved. I was told by John that my car was ready to be picked up and I assumed the heater had been fixed since that is what I brought it in for, but it hadnt been. I wasnt told this until after I had paid and was there to pick it up. So I am assured that they will make things right, then told me that actually, it will cost another $1100. Everything seemed to be complicated and out of the norm to them. I would call it incompetence, and strongly suggest they take another look at their management and get their act together. I no longer trust this shop and will not be returning.

This is the only place I will take my cars for service. Tyler, the manager, is very honest with the services recommended for your vehicle. I came in today to have the power steering and transmission fluid flushed on my wifes car, based on recommendations from a prior service visit. After Tyler checked the fluids, he told me the power steering fluid was clean. It turns out my wife, unknown to me, had taken the car to another competitor for an oil change service. The oil was changed and the power steering was flushed at the competitors store. Tyler had no way of knowing that the car didnt need the power steering service other than by looking at clean fluid in the car. In my past experiences, other service centers would of taken advantage of that circumstance and my apparently poor communication with my wife :) Its great to have an honest manager on duty and I highly recommend this Meineke location to others.

I received outstanding service from manager John Russell and Mechanic Jeremy. I went in for my standard oil change and tire rotation, but also asked them to check out a funny noise in my wheels. Jeremy was able to diagnose that my wheel bearings were very bad and my wheels were about ready to fall off the car! They were able to take care of it immediately and even took time from their busy schedules to drive me to my house since I didnt have a ride home. The car was done in excellent time and the issue was resolved. John was great at getting me a great price and warranty, in addition to fitting me in unexpectedly. I am so pleased with this Castle Rock Meineke and feel I can trust them to do a great job, efficiently and at the right price. Thank you, John and Jeremy for a wonderful experience!
