This store is absolutely ridiculous! My wife and I will never bring our cars here again. We brought her car in because she had gotten a screw in her tire and because of the area it was in we figured they would be able to take the screw out and patch the tire. The tires on the car have not even had 5,000 miles on them. When the dismounted the tire from the rim they then came back stating they couldnt patch it and that the rest of my tires as well needed to be replaced. they then gave me a ridiculous estimate to have all four tires replaced. I had them put the donut on my car and i took it to Big-O-Tires. They were able to take the screw out with a screw driver and patch up the tire. The technicians there said that they do not understand why Firestone could not do it that it was an easy repair. All this Firestone does is try to rip off soldiers and thinking that since my wife is a female they could take advantage of her and talk her into buying four tires that were not needed at all. Good thing we knew what they were trying to do and we took the car elsewhere. Its a shame that they do this to so many soldiers and take advantage of them and the fact that its convenient for the soldiers they just try to make more money off of them. Beware people get a second opinion before paying for ANYTHING here!

I had little choice where I took my car when I busted the timing belt driving to Ft Carson on I-25. My roadside assistance would only take me 6 miles and this was the only mechanic in that distance that I had even heard of. I understand why it took a while to fix my engine due to what a timing belt going out does, but there was ZERO reason for me to have to wait almost a week for them to "finish" my car. My car has a anti-theft alarm that when you disconnect the battery and then reconnect it, goes off. There is no remote for it and I figured since this is a mechanic and no other shop has had issue they would not. My car should have been done Christmas Eve but even with the code I have to reset the alarm it took them almost 5 days to "finish" my car. When I got into my car, the battery was weak (new battery) because they didnt bother letting the car run after just letting the alarm blare, draining the battery! They did a decent job with the actual repairs and Im glad to have my car back, but geesh! There was ZERO reason for it to take them 4 days to turn off an alarm that is well known about and does not have a remote.

Worthless.. They took in my truck to replace a few rotors and brake pads since they were really bad and I just bought the truck. It cost maybe 1,300 or so to do it. Whatever I guess.. Thats about right. Well they didnt put them back on the right way. So a few days later I had to take it to another firestone where they stripped the rotor screws. So that ended up taking even more time. Finally Im getting it back. Now they want to feed me some more bs about how my wheels have a factory part or something and they cant fix it or replace it. I guess the only good thing these guys did, not this exact store, was replace the parts they screwed up. But why they wouldnt tell me that I needed some special part for my wheels before they wanted to give it back is beyond me. Now I cant drive my truck until the part is replaced. So I unexpectedly have to pay another thousand or so to have that done. Should have just went to big o tires to start with..

They have a very great staff here. Always polite and professional when it comes to dealing with people. Although it does seem like they dont take the time necessary to make sure the cars are worked on properly. After going here and getting tires they called and told me I needed an alignment for my 2011 subaru. I told them to go ahead and charge it to my account. I was leaving the next day for Indiana. I got to Omaha, Nebraska when I noticed something wasnt right. So I took it in the nearest Firestone. They fixed the alignment that this Firestone here in Ft. Carson never did or didnt do right I dont know which. However I went back in and they made it right they credited my account back 69.99 which was the price of the alignment, they sincerely apologized. For this I am greatful. Will I ever got to this Firestone again, no I will not. I advise anyone using this Firestone to really look over what ever work you get done.

So took my truck to firestone like an idiot a few months ago because I was on in a time crunch. Well the job was new coil packs that I already knew. It took them three days to diagnose this issue and i already told these guys what the problem was before they got it and they broke more then they fixed. Starting with 1. The heatsheild for the top of the engine broke the corners off from the cover leaving no way to screw the shield I place. 2. They split a vac line causing the vehicle to stutter and shake. 3. And most importantly they tightened the bolts too tight for the coil packs stripping the metal thread insert from the plastic manifold causing it to misfire because it didnt have a good contact. Idiots So screw that 900 dollar job I fixed all of it and still got money to spend. Anyone who uses the firestone on FT. Carson be cautious double check their work.

Took my car for service. Alignment was so poor I have to take my car somewhere else to get it right... The other shop told me they needed to do a Wedge adjustments/Shim kits (back) because they could not do it themselves. and so lied to me telling me oh...well in the manual there is no real number to the manufacturer specification....really????? well how come another mechanic and shop was able to do it to the manufacturer and now I can drive my car and feel safe. Plus it takes them forever, hate working and fixing other issues my car had, I looked up the parts put in my car and the costs where lowerrrrrr than they put in the receipt. I feel cheated, lied will never again take it there for sure...I recommend to take your car to: JAPANESE CONNECTION AUTO REPAIR 3519 E BOULDER ST COLORADO SPRINGS, CO 80909

Since 2012 Ive been using Firestone Auto Care. Management there Ive find them to friendly, respectful, very professional and understand my needs. Ive noticed fire stone located on Fort Carson, I believe its one the leading car care centers within Colorado Springs. Ive seen the workmanship they have done over the past four years. Prices, are fair and also, likely to receive warranty and a discount. Outside our military base most car care center dont give reasonable discounts compare to on base. Average Solider or Veteran are likely to use services provided on post. Saving time and money. Fire stones customer service has been unwavering serving out active duty and veterans alike. I would recommend them to anyone in need of car care.
