Excellent service! Professional yet Personable. Fair pricing for a job well done! I needed my car serviced and made "road ready" for a trip I went on recently to the west coast. This was my first time going to Vail Auto Repair, but definitely will not be my last. Long story short, I had called around for quotes to replace a part in my truck, and they were Half the Cost as some other places in the valley, with the same parts and just as good of service. Rado and Nick were so amazing! My truck turned into being such a pain in the butt for them, but they were so patient and very kind. My truck ran better than it has in years! Rado was very efficient and accommodating to my schedule as well. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone in the valley. If you are looking for Fair Pricing, Experienced Mechanics, and friendly Professionals to work on your vehicle, (even if its just an oil change! ) Vail Auto Repair is your shop. First let me say that this is the first google review that I have done cuz I usually wouldnt take the time to do this. But the service at Vail Auto Repair was SO amazing that Im compelled to inform anyone that might read this. Long story short...they replaced a dead alternator on our GMC Yukon in 40 minutes without prior appointment for $380 total....an extremely fair price and job done perfectly. Nick and Rado are the best; they saved our family vacation. Others could and would have taken advantage of our desperate "not from around here" situation but they did not. If I lived near Vail I would use them exclusively. If you have the opportunity to need service work on your car or truck, you should let them do the job. It is very rare for a auto repair shop to maintain such a high rating on Google....these guys are that good.

Im a bit of a vehicle enthusiast, and I do a lot of work on my own cars. There are some things that I definitely need a shop to do, and I really cannot trust anyone else, except Rado and Nick at Vail Auto Repair. These guys run a really well-operated small business. First of all, theyre both fantastic mechanics. Theres no guessing - they know what theyre doing. Second, the biggest impression I came away with is that they actually care, which can be hard to find with auto shops. Rado and Nick clearly go the extra mile to make sure youre satisfied. Rado even fixed a couple things on my car at no charge, simply because he noticed them, and they were not a big expense. This is what you want from an auto shop. Well done, guys.

A great place..courteous, honest and reliable. Was on vacation visiting my daughter in CO. while traveling the area noticed her car shaking when applying brakes. this was over a weekend, called them early Monday morning to leave message and they responded before opening hours of 8am. I was just concerned about making appointment to have brakes repaired as had to leave for Denver to catch my flight home at 5 pm that day. they said they could have it done by 2 pm. AND THEY DID!!! Brakes are new and perform excellent. Wish there was a shop this dedicated and accommodating back home. Thank you guys for putting her car in great condition. She will be relying on your services in the future. Thanks again!!!

I just recently moved to the valley and was in need of an oil change and tire rotation since my dealership was no where near where I was at. Due to the ugly weather conditions, me having such a horrible day, and them having a busy Monday, Rado and Nick was able to squeeze me in that same day without an appointment. As my car was being serviced, they found a nail in one of my tires. They patched it up for me this one time at no cost. Now that is "great customer service"! They were very knowledgeable, helpful, and very professional. I would definitely come back to Vail Auto Repair in the future. Thanks again Rado and Nick for taking great care of me when I needed it! You guys are awesome!

Whatever you do, do not take your car to this place. We had Jan (pronounced Yan) look at a car that we were considering purchasing that had a "broken fuel pump". We specifically asked that he make sure it was not the rack (a much more costly repair) as well as to take a look to see that it was in sound condition. He said the car was in great condition, it was just the fuel pump. Turns out it was actually the rack and there were a ton of other issues he neglected to point out. To make matters worse, he was unbelievably short and acted like we were bothering him by bringing the car in and asking questions. Save your time and your money, skip The Synthetic Shop.

I brought my vehicle to Vail Auto Repair for an oil change and I would highly recommend them! Their prices are reasonable, they were friendly, efficient and quick. I mentioned that I could no longer lock my doors as my remote key had died. The Land Rover Dealer where I had purchased two cars told me the 2011 LR2 key fob had a rechargeable battery and once it quit working it needed to be replaced. I was quoted $300-$400 for a new key and the reprogramming. Rado opened up the key fob, ordered a new battery and fixed my key for $65 !! I will be a customer for life!

These guys are amazing, words cannot express my gratitude for their work & costs: my car broke down big time on the 17 hr drive from San Diego, on a Sat at noon in vail center. Nick & Rado took my car and worked on it pass 4pm (they close at 2pm), Rado found me the only rental company open & took me to eagle county airport (30min drive) to get the rental car & returned to pick me up 3 days later. They got me back on the rode quick to meet our movers so we can get into our new home. They are very honest and sincere U.S. Veterans. Thank you fellas!!!!

I cant say enough good things about this place. First, I got brakes done with these guys based on their excellent google reviews, and I was not disappointed. Excellent job all around. I came back a few days ago for a tire replacement, and on my short notice they were able to order the tires within two days and replace them in a jiffy, all before my road trip coming up on Monday. Not only does the service here go above and beyond any auto shop in the surrounding area, its also better than any other place Ive ever gone. Thanks again!

We were here from out of town and had a problem with our brake light on our 2008 Toyota 4Runner. They took us right in and diagnosed that we needed a new taillight assembly but were able to fix it temporarily and it has been working for nearly 2 months with no issues!!! I would highly recommend them as an honest, trustworthy shop to do business with whether youre local or from out of town they will treat you with honesty, respect and are truly the rare exception of an honest mechanic shop!
