BEWARE!!! If I could leave a big fat ZERO STARS I would!! Twice now i have taken items to Dependable on Arapahoe and both times they royally messed up. The first time it was my trench coat. I asked them to re sew a couple of buttons. I quickly picked up my item on the way to the airport only to find at the airport that they had sewed the buttons in the wrong spot and two popped off within a day. ALSO, they forgot to give me back my coat waist tie - most trench coats look ridiculous without this key item!!! I called and they said they could not find it and they would call me tomorrow when a certain person returned. BIG SURPRISE - they never called. I called them when i got back from my trip and luckily it had turned up. A couple of months later i brought 7 items to them once again - thinking i would give them the benefit of the doubt. Once again they have failed tremendously to actually do what they are charging SOOO much for. I had brought to their attention 3 stains on 3 different shirts when i dropped off. When i went to pick them up today all three shirts look like they had not been touched and all three stains were still there. And one of my silk shirts had 3 NEW STAINS!!! Not to mention they charged me $90 for 7 items - this is sooo insanely over priced. I think this Dependable Cleaners needs to be reported to the BBB and I am looking into this right now. NEVER GO HERE!!! SAVE YOUR CLOTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me sum up the negative reviews for you all who are trying to get a perspective on DC: "I give my clothes to the cleaners before checking the price of the service." Yeah, DC is expensive. But its dependable. Exceptionally Dependable. Which I guess is why its called Dependable Cleaners instead of Inexpensive Cleaners of Questionable Quality. You can take your clothes here before ~9am and get them done by closing time THAT DAY. Good luck finding that kind of service elsewhere (especially in Boulder, where they need a couple of days to extract whatever patchouli oil they use to clean your shirt). If you want to pay less, go elsewhere. If you want to lower your carbon footprint, go elsewhere. If you want expedient service and quality, go elsewhere. If you want alterations, go to a tailor. If you want fast, good dry cleaning/laundering, go to Dependable Cleaners. P.S.: DC also has the friendliest employees Ive ever worked with. Kudos to them for that.

I have never paid this much for my dry cleaning. I took in a bunch of items. I asked for an estimate. With the exception of the pants, everything else ended up being more than what I was told. The most ridiculous was the down jacket: It was more than double of the quoted (quoted: $17; actual: $35). When I commented about the price discrepancy, the lady said to me "Its because its down". To be fair, the lady was very friendly. But all I could think was, "Duh, its always been a down. It was a down when I brought it in!" To add salt to the wound: I brought in the clothes at 9AM and was told they couldnt do same day service. Absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend unless youre feeling charitable.

Brought in my down comforter and they did an AMAZING job. Not only was my down comforter super clean and fresh, but they gave me a discount because it was ready a day late and I wasnt notified (apparently this never happens and theyre really good about notifying you about any delays when the product is tougher to clean than anticipated). Definitely dependable and definitely will be returning. Highly recommend if youre looking for quality cleaning and quality customer care. They also have the best hours of most places in Boulder. Dont forget to hold on to your receipt - it has the date itll be ready on it!

Ive lived in cities/towns across America and have never seen cleaning prices so outrageously high in my life. The crap theyre trying to pull here should be noted by the Better Business Bureau...its insane. How do they get off charging $9 to clean pants or a shirt??? IF YOU GO HERE, YOU ARE RETARDED! BTW, its probably no surprise that theres one rating above one star here...Ill give ya 3 guesses who wrote that one! Seriously ridiculously horrible place though...Will never go here again. Im actually reluctant to give them one star...Is it possible to give zero??

Good friendly staff, who were more than happy to accommodate my needs. Needed a shirt pressed by 3 pm that day and the man said he would have it done by 12, which he did. Came out looking fresher than the day I bought it, and gave my outfit that extra pop. Fast, reliable, professional....not cheap (good work costs money)

I have used Dependable Cleaners for 4 years now and have been very happy since day one. They have always taken care of me and the employees are all very friendly as well, which makes a big difference. I get quick service, my clothes are always dry cleaned well and they also offer delivery. Its worth it to me.

$10 to dry clean a tie is downright offensive. Clothes are clean. Wont return. (Thanks for your response - Im not a student, Im just a non-rich young person. I had 3 ties which I decided not to drop off because I could literally pay my internet bill instead. Insanity.)

Its just a ripoff. This place charges 2-3x the price of a couple of the other dry cleaners in town. Also they dont have a big military discount like other places. I have a couple military covers (hats) and they charged me $8 per. Terrible pricing.

Wow. What exuberant pricing. My fault for not looking at the prices when I dropped off, but Im never going back.
