Recently Tim was able to help me recover my Dell laptops failed encrypted hard drive. I had initially contacted Dell support and, while they arent up to the Apple level...they were good, but their solution would have replaced my hard drive and done nothing for the data. I sought local help! I had called a few data recovery services on Friday night and didnt get a warm feeling. Tim was open on Saturday morning even in the middle of our recent spring snow storm. With no small amount of trepidation, I turned the laptop over to Tim. Long story short...over the next week Tim worked closely with me and the Dell "Hard Problem" expert we finally were allowed to talk to. Between Dells expertise and Tims local support they recovered all of my data and replaced the failed drive. Throughout the process Tim took all the right steps to diagnose the problem and do so in a way that if he was wrong he could recover safely. Unlike other repair shops, he knows what he doesnt know and was very cautious in his handling of the laptop and especially my data. I couldnt be happier with the result and the very reasonable price.

I really enjoyed doing business with these guys! They know their stuff and are very good to work with. Kind and courteous each time Ive needed to use them for repairs and I will use them again. I have had a couple different services performed here. 1st was a hard drive replacement for my wifes IMac, 2nd was a battery swap for my Asus Gaming Laptop. Not an easy task as you have to take the entire computer apart to get to it but both went off without a hitch. No problems with either since the repairs and they didnt do the usual "Geek Squad Up-Sell" that you usually get from Best Buy and other computer repair services. Duke at Laptop Repair fixed my work station that was experiencing high levels of unknown and mysterious internet bandwidth usage - up to 100 gb/day. He ran a deep system diagnostic and determined the culprit was a system file. He re-installed Windows 7, protected all my data and showed me a software package I could use to monitor internet usage myself. He was very patient to help during a few startup problems caused by my own lack of knowledge. Prices were very reasonable. Laptop Repair provided a great service at a very reasonable price. Ill be going back again if/when I have PC issues I cant resolve myself.

I cannot thank Laptop Repair Castle Rock enough. My laptop hinge broke, with help. I took it to a chain store who told me it would cost me $49 to send it off just to SEE if it could be fixed. I was not happy with that response so I took it to Laptop Repair in Castle Rock. Tim fixed it on the spot! No sending it off to "see if it could be fixed." He just fixed it! Thank you Tim. You guys are great!! And, they do repairs on all computers, not just laptops. I will use them again for any of my computer/technology needs.

My laptop suddenly shut down and would not turn on. I wasnt sure if it was a problem with the laptop or power supply. Took it into Laptop Repair and Tim quickly tested the charging system and the power supply which checked out OK He then suggested there might be a quick fix and within 30 seconds had the computer rebooting!!! Im very impressed with both his customer service and his obvious knowledge of electronics! I will definitely return to Laptop Repair if I have any future problems! Thank you, Tim!

The guy with short black spiky hair told me my hard rive crashed and its not worth giving me a free diagnosis. Like my computer had aids and he didnt want to touch it. It was going to cost at least 200 for a new hard drive and up to 1500 for data recovery. I Went to a real computer repair place next and he sprayed air in my fan port and my computer turned on. 25 bucks got it fixed. Looks like these guys have no idea what there doing. Ill be going to computer Marc in the springs from now on

So, I had called this place to inquire about iPad repairs...the backlight on my iPad went out and could no longer see anything. The gentleman I spoke with told me to just try a hard reboot of the iPad by holding the Power and Home buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds. After reboot, the backlight was working again and I now have a fully functioning iPad. This guy is a genius!!! Thank you for your help; you guys are AWESOME!!!!

Tim was knowledgeable and was not selfish in his sharing of this knowledge with me. I brought in an oooolllld mac mini and he was able to get the files I was nervous I had lost to the idiocy of back-up failure. He was kind and courteous and communicated very well. There were no hidden costs. He spent the time helping me think through options for replacing or fixing my computer. I love, as well, that this is a family business.

This is a cute little family-owned shop, but they really do great work. My laptop that I use for work got completely soaked, so that I half expected it wouldnt work at all. But they were very careful with it and got it dried, cleaned, and good as new, and I had it back and ready for work in a couple of days. On top of that, they were friendly and professional, and made the whole process very easy. I highly recommend this business.

Tim, was very helpful with making several changes to my laptop that i thought was junk. When he finished reloading and going through my hard drive and other files it was like i had a brand new computer. I highly recommend Laptop Repair in Castle Rock! They assessed my computer issue and did not charge me for taking a look at my issue. While the expense of the repair does not make financial sense with the age of the computer, I will definitely go back to them whenever I need computer work done. They were knowledgeable, friendly and really took the time to talk through all of my options.
