In the past, I have enjoyed the convinience of this location and have been greeted by very friendly and courtesy employees. However, this morning I am left dumbfounded and stunned by the service I recieved. I walked in with my item wrapped up and placed inside my provided box along with a prepaid priority shipping label for an insured parcel. I requested the "Priority" tape that is available as a courtesy at every other Retail/Branch, and CPU Postal locations I have ever been to (a lot). The man, mid 50s, grey hair, slight stutter, presumably the owner, behind the counter curtly replied that tape is not free but he would grudglingly tape my box for me. He proceeded to haphazardly tape my box with clear packing tape from behind the counter even despite my request that he use Priority tape since I paid for Priority shipping. In his haste to tape the package, he then tapped over the barcode on my prepaid label (a no-no according to the instruction). He said for me to leave at that point, but then I insisted he continue taping the package as per the requirements set by the USPS for an Insured package. He got very rude with me at which point I took my package from his hands, explained to him how he lost a customer over 10cents of tape, and he continued to yell at me out the door telling me how I should have used my own tape prior to coming to his store. Perhaps very true, however, I paid for priority shipping, I was not using a flat rate box, so I wanted to ensure visibility that my package was indeed a priority shipment by using the priority tape. There was method to my madness. And method that I dont feel was as unreasonble as this was being made out to be by this man. If I am in the wrong, I will remove this review. Thankfully, the Branch PO is just around the corner. I went there instead, was promptly greeted by a Postal Worker behind the counter with my poorly taped package. He noticed this without me saying ANYTHING and he offered me more priority tape. After I finished with the Priority tape, I gave it back to him and he said I could leave the package on his counter, despite the fact that there were 5 other people in-line. (it was obvious to anyone I had a package I just needed to drop off, so I wasnt "cutting" line) I tried to write this as objectively as I could. Im sure the man at this location behind the counter has another version, but I will never go back here and I hope my experience provides you with a second thought before going here vs the full service post office. Use at your own risk and if you want the use of priority tape or ANY tape be prepared to get some rude responses.

My review is not tied to the location itself, but to the phone system. "Say yes or no" "No" "Im sorry, I didnt get that"
