Dear Mr. Karle, On March 27, 2017, I retrieved my vehicle from your shop after receiving an email from Gabe stating that all work had been completed. I arrived at your shop and was greeted by Gabe. Gabe escorted me out of the building to where my car was waiting. He went over all the “repairs” and “services” that your shop conducted and or provided and even went as far to say, “That’s a really nice Lexus.” I was so happy to have my car back! I then proceeded to my home where I met up with my boyfriend. My boyfriend told me that the work that was completed was unacceptable and that I should take the car back to have it fixed the right way. He walked me around my car and showed me the discrepancies in the paint, the tape that was left behind and painted over; the “orange peel” that is occurring in the paint job; the debris and grit that got mixed into the paint and then was clear coated over; the white grime all over the inside of the doors that was left behind; how the rocker panel is still bent and doesn’t line up with the rest of the car; and most importantly how my rear passenger door isn’t lined up with the rest of the car at all. I couldn’t believe it. How could this have happened? Why did your employees allow me to drive off with my car like this? Why did Gabe tell me that all is well and then take my money knowing that there were signs of substandard workmanship? How could an experienced and trained professional allow me to drive off with my car in that condition? How can they tell me lies when it is painfully obvious that there were big mistakes made? How does a “professional” allow for this to happen? Isn’t there someone inspecting the cars before they are handed off to the paying customer? I don’t understand why I was treated this way. Could the reason be because I am a woman and that the consensus at your business is that women are stupid? Did you think you could get away with producing subpar work because it was an insurance job and your company gets paid no matter what? I don’t understand how you could have my vehicle for 9 weeks and then produce my car to me in such an unacceptable condition! I can’t believe that I handed over $1000.00 to your company and that your company accepted my money knowing that my car was not fixed properly. Moreover, I had to rent a car and pay over $900.00 out of my own pocket while my car sat at your shop for 9 weeks. At the time, I didn’t mind paying the rental fees because I was certain that you were working hard to make my car like new again. I even told Gabe over the phone once that, “I didn’t care how long it took the techs to fix my car just as long as it is done right and looks good.” I honestly believed that this was what was occurring during those 9 weeks. But, I was so wrong. My car looks as if you slapped it together in just 3 days and then threw a paint job on it and called it “done”. I have been taken advantage of by your company. Unfortunately, I don’t know that I can trust you or your employees nor can I afford to pay for a rental car while my car goes back in your shop for another 8 or 9 weeks. The sad thing Mr. Karle, is that your employees lack morals and they obviously do not take pride in their work or your company for that matter. And, unfortunately, your employees represent you and company. You should know that what they are representing is that they have very little respect for you or themselves. I will be sending my attorney a copy of this letter, a copy of the original work order and a copy of the “final” work order that Gabe produced to me and then passed off as a completed job, as well as pictures of the mistakes and faulty repairs that occurred at your business. All of which, provides proof that your company attempted to mislead me into believing my car had been fully repaired when in fact it had not.

I got sent here through USAA to have my alignment checked because one of their members ran me off the road. When I initially called to set up the appointment, they were super nice and understanding of my situation. They said that they could get my alignment checked and set up an appointment with me at a convenient time. When I went to call the morning of the appointment to ask if they could check my engine problem too, the lady told me that she wasnt sure if they could. She put me on the phone with the lady I had initially made the appointment with and I told her that she may remember me. I described my situation again like I had 2 days ago, and totally disregarding what I had described, she started talking about how my voice was familiar and asked if I was someones son?! I was clearly focused on fixing my problem and I just wanted to figure out if my car could be CHECKED. NOT even repaired. Just inspected. She told me that in no way did they do alignment. But asked me if I messed up my wheels or tires. I proceeded to insist to her that it was just an alignment. And then asked why she had made the appointment with me initially if now shes telling me that they dont check alignment. She didnt even have it written down or booked my information, name, or appointment time. She told me, "Sorry, maybe you could check an alignment shop. Have a nice day." Nice lady, but just wasnt on the ball at all. Especially when I NEED to have my vehicle checked. Luckily, I called Honest Accurate and they jumped on it, asked about all my problems, gave me a price, confirmed a time, took down my info, and offered me a shuttle ride in case I need to be anywhere.

When I called them to schedule an appointment, they told me they were busy, so we scheduled for a month in the future, when they assured me, they would be able to get right on it, and it would only take them 2-3 weeks to complete the repairs. OK, sounds good right? I took the car in on the scheduled day, thinking all would be well. 6 weeks later, I still did not have my car. They had excuse after excuse as to why it wasnt their fault. Bottom line - they told me 2-3 weeks, and it took nearly 7 weeks to get my car back. 7 weeks. So how was the quality? Well, the paint looked great. But when I got home, I couldnt pop the trunk or open the fuel door. After some adjusting, I was able to get the trunk working again. But the fuel door was missing a spring. I also noticed that there was a lot of noise coming in through the windshield. I took a closer look and realized that they had installed the windshield incorrectly! So I took the car back in, and had them fix the fuel door. Then I had to take the car in on another day to have them re-install the windshield. So here I am, about 8 weeks out, and finally my car is completed. If you dont mind being without your car for 2 months, and dont mind being flat-out lied to about how long its going to take, and then have to take it back in several times afterwards to get all their mistakes fixed, then by all means take your car to Karle Coachworks.
