I decided to try Status Symbol Auto Body after a bad experience (during an estimate for the same damage) with one of their competitors. I got an unscheduled estimate from (one of my Insurance Company recommended) repair facilities because of convenience and was rather disturbed by the attitude of the business owner, (all I could do was imagine what would happen if I had a problem), so I tried Status Symbol Auto Body (recommended by my Insurance Company but also a Dave Ramsey Endorsed Company). Now, as the owner of a Dave Ramsey Endorsed Company, I have a high standard and expectation of customer service, all I can say is "WOW" they knocked it out of the park. I arrived unscheduled and was greeted in such a way that I felt they had been waiting for me all day, they happily gave me an estimate and scheduled me for repairs within a week. They connected me with a car rental company that was on time to pick me up on the day of drop off (Monday morning 8:30 am) who also made sure I got out of their office quickly, in a warm SUV. The work was scheduled to be complete on a Thursday or Friday and was actually completed Thursday at 4:00 pm. Now when I dropped of the vehicle to them the outside was dirty and the inside was not clean and had not been clean for most of December. The inside was dusty and the floor was dirty. When I picked up the vehicle I was stunned, they had detailed the entire interior as well as washed the exterior (the damage they repaired was to a small portion of the rear passenger door panel). The quality of the repair was excellent and the paint blending was beautiful. I was told I have a lifetime guarantee on workmanship, I doubt I will need it but if I do I know they will step up to same level as they did during the initial repair visit. I commend you Status Symbol Auto Body for your outstanding service and for making me feel that you cared and that you wanted my business. I will send everyone I know that needs body and paint work to you exclusively. Keep up the Great Work and for thank you for upholding the standards of a Dave Ramsey Endorsed Service Provider.

Status Symbol Auto Body is exactly why consumers should patronize locally owned businesses. News Flash – they actually do care and go out of their way to exceed customer’s expectations, not just meet them! My wife’s car was damaged during the hail storm last October. We waited for five months while another auto body repair place gave us the run around, not to mention, the manager yelling at my wife over the phone about the state of her business. Finally, we were referred to Status Symbol. From the moment my wife got off the phone with Wayne, she made the comment that she had a really good feeling about this place; the entire experience was eye opening on how stress free these transactions should be. I dropped the car off and Wayne went through the process with me. He then explained to me that I would be receiving phone calls updating us on the status of the repair weekly. Well, how many times have we been told that? It actually happened, he actually called every week. Not only that, if I was busy and didn’t answer, he would leave a message and then proceed to call my wife. Incredible! Could be the first time I was told this and it actually happened. The estimate by our insurance company missed a lot of stuff that should have been covered. How many times did I have to get involved with getting more money from the insurance company? ZERO times. Wayne took care of everything right down to getting the rental car agency to drive me to the shop after I dropped the rental. The repairs were completed well before the estimated time and it looked incredible. It literally looked brand new. When my wife and girls saw it for the first time they kept saying, “it’s new, it’s new”.Wayne walked me around the car explaining what they had done and it was amazing. I am by no means a professional in this field but it became very apparent to me that the only way you could get done what they had to get done and before the date promised is that you are really, really good at what you do. Thank you all for making this a truly great experience.

Having been very closely tied to a family body shop, I was very upset when after owning my new car for only two weeks, I hit a deer. I gathered three estimates as required by my insurance company– the last from Status Symbol Auto Body. From the minute I walked in their shop, I knew I would do business with them. Everyone working in the shop smiled and acknowledged me with a friendly demeanor (and still do to this day!) and I was treated as though I was their only customer. The work suggested on the estimate was explained. They walked me through how the process would go and how long they thought it would take to get parts and complete the work. They did everything just as they promised, finished on time, dealt with my insurance company, and showed me what they did asking me if I was satisfied with their work; which I ABSOLUTELY was! Six years after they did the work for me, I stopped in to ask them to look at something else, and they remembered me. Plus, just as before, they went above and beyond what they had to do to make sure I was happy and well taken care of. The same employees were there, too – which speaks volumes! The owners, Cindy and Mike, are incredibly knowledgeable, kind and committed to making sure your car is in better condition than it was even before the damage. They don’t just do repairs, they make sure you understand what they are doing and why. I have, and will continue to recommended them to all of my friends and family (and even strangers I’ve met needing body work) and will bring all of my vehicles to them when I need auto body work. It’s rare to find a body shop with owners and staff so trustworthy. Status Symbol Auto Body is the best body shop in town.

I have been a patron of Status Symbol since 1985 and have brought at least seven vehicles in for service, ranging from a complete restoration of a classic car to smaller jobs such as a bumper repair. I have always received the highest quality service and courtesy; repairs stayed repaired and communication regarding the job and changing conditions were always presented promptly, completely (including costs), and with options so I myself could make an informed decision as to what I wanted from the repair. I have also observed the same treatment given to other customers and have referred friends who have trusted me with a recommendation. I and they have never been let down. Cindy knows the business thoroughly, from the technical and customer relations sides and represents one of the best business relationships I have. She has always gone the second and third mile to assure my needs were met. If you want to know why Status Symbol is successful, get to know Cindy! This is a long time local business that has thrived by being committed to meeting the communitys needs to the highest standard; not an out of town corporate ownership. This is the first review I have ever written, and I considered at length what I would say. Others would be well advised to do the same.
