I dont like doing these kind of things, but since I chose this place upon the good reviews, I had to do my part in sharing my experience. I called to make an appointment with my normal stylist, Carla, and was told she quit with no way to get a hold of her. I thought that was a bit odd. So I scheduled my appointment with Don. I asked for a haircut and toner, since I was turning brassy. Im trying to find the perfect blonde tone for my skin tone, which is quite a task in itself, let alone finding a good stylist. He dyed my hair instead of toning it. It is now an orangey yellowy color. He then gave me the worse haircut Ive ever received in my life. If you can even call it a haircut, being that he didnt even cut the entire top layer of hair. Where he did cut, is very choppy so you can see a coarse line and does not blend. I asked him if he cut my hair since he was done very quickly, and he said yes. Now, the top layer of my hair is two inches longer than the bottom layer. Are reverse layers now a thing? Ugh! I will never go back to this place and suggest you not even enter.

Years Ahead Salon should actually be called Years Behind Salon. I googled this salon, and read great reviews for Paul - I called, got an appointment with Paul for haircut and full highlights. I spent my morning listening to him rave about the awards hed earned, that hed been an instructor in Cali. My haircut has no style, he basically trimmed the bad haircut with no thoughts to my request for layers. My hair after drying looked like Id stuck my finger in a light socket and only have a couple of visible highlights. I have lots of hair - thick hair and those all over highlights should show. What I didnt do was look for a Facebook page. Yeah, they have one - not to many good reviews for Paul. I let Paul know the highlights are almost non existence, but havent heard back from him. He needs to listen to his client... I dont do do overs and I wont be back. Dude - its time to retire, let the younger stylists in to move your business years ahead..

I have a lot of hair and it grows out of control about every 4 weeks. For 35 years Paul at Years Ahead breaks out his precision razor sharp tools and somehow he remembers what he did the time before. Asks direct questions about how the cut lasted and the shape it kept, asks for any requests and I shut up and let him do his work. Maybe twice over the years I was dissatisfied with my cut and it was because I went somewhere else while I was out of town. Yesterday I had him cut and style and I took off and never really looked at my hair the rest of the day. I got home, looked in the mirror and it was cut so well, it looked like I had just left Years Ahead. I called Paul and let him know. I also want anyone who is looking for this level of precision with their hair to know as well. Thanks Pablo Joe Stefanec

Do not go here. I went and I feel disgusting. This place is a nasty mess. It looks like no one has ever cleaned it. The stylist combed my hair with a comb from the bottom of a drawer underneath brushes that had who knows how many other peoples hair in them. I had to stand several times for my hair cut and was made to bend over during the blow dry. I dont even want to give one star. I have no idea why there are so many 5 stars. I would have rather gone to Supercuts, and I hate Supercuts. At least they are clean and much more concerned with the customer experience.

One of the girls that was doing my hair in the middle of the process she "got sick" left me with one of the guys to do my hair and he had horrible customer service didnt know how to cut or style and did not do the color I wanted and was constantly saying the 40 years of hair experience he supposbly had I would never go back there I would rather cut my own hair before I went back there be aware

Great service, convenient location with easy parking, and warm professional atmosphere. I have been a long time customer and my cuts have always been consistent and exactly "as ordered". Years Ahead is very client oriented and a true pleasure to work with -- they take the stress out of "hair" and appointments. Creative and attentive.

Paul is the best. Not only does he always do a fantastic job on my hair, he is wonderful when it comes to customer service. I had to cancel my appointment due to a family tragedy and we were having trouble re-booking my appointment. So he came down at 7:45 on a Sunday morning to cut my hair! Thank you Paul!

so omg!!! ive been getting my hair colored (every color or style imaginable ) by don at years ahead for 10 years and i will never take my family anywhere else. not only is the service and price amazing, but the atmosphere is so much fun here i bring my little dog and spend hours. you have to come here!

Paul really knows how to cut naturally curly hair! Ive been to so many other salons who claim they can cut naturally curly hair only to end up with a hack job. He also does a fantastic job with color and highlights. Go to Years Ahead Salon! Your hair will never look better!

Had highlights done here and they were just okay. I really liked my stylist (she was super sweet) but I was not in love with the highlights. And no, I did not go back and request to have them fixed. I felt that I did not want this stylist to repair them.

Went there to do my nails and had a terrible experience. To be honest my 11 year old daughter could have done better. The person just slapped some nail polish on and didnt do half the stuff included in the deal. Good hair salon bet definitely not nails.
