We asked You and I caterers to cater our Sons wedding up in woodland park on 12/13/14. They were outstanding!!! When we were first looking for caterers back in March or April we were quite disappointed at how expensive that many of the caterers were here in Colorado Springs. In addition it was very difficult to get appointments with them and their costs for a wedding dinner for 100 guests ranged between $3,500 to $4000 on average. In addition their menus seemed to be very limited and very expensive. So I saw a You and I catering truck one day and gave them a call. They were very friendly and helpful and we quickly set up a dinner tasting appointment. We went to this appointment and Nevis (the Owner) fixed us a sumptuous meal. Needless to say we signed a contract and they put it together. The cost for this event was significantly lower than other caterers that we had priced and the food and the service provided by Nevis and his family was absolutely top shelf! In fact the owner at the venue that we held the wedding at said to me that the catering service provided by You and I catering was the best that he ever seen in all of the years that weddings had been performed at his venue. In addition, You and I catering did a 4 foot tall Ice Sculpture for the event that absolutely stunning. Lastly, I want to talk about the food. It was to die for, They provided beef Wellington appetizers that were delicious. The main courses were Chicken Marsala, a Baron of Beef, and a raspberry chipolte salmon that was hands down the best salmon dish that I have ever eaten in my entire life and a vegetarian lasagna for those that didnt eat meat. The meal also came with Rice pilaf, baked red potatoes, asparagus and salad. The portions were very generous and we did it buffet style so that you could try everything. No one went away hungry and we were able to take plenty of the leftover food home with us after the wedding. Thank You Nevis and your Family, You made this wedding event very memorable and were so blessed and Praise God that that we found you back in March. Harry & Paula. I can not recommend You and I caterer enough. As to the negative comment by Leo I recommend that you disregard his comment as it appears that because this guy had less people than what he contracted for show up at the last minute. It appears that he demanded that You and I catering to just eat the cost because he had less guests. We gave Nevis our final headcount two weeks before the event and even though we did not have all 100 planned guests show up on the wedding day I would never expect You and I catering to refund us for having less guests. So please disregard the classless cheapskate that posted the negative response.

Can I give 0 stars? Because that is what they deserve. They catered our wedding. Bait and switch is the best way to describe this company. The owner will promise you the world, under deliver, and overcharge. Here is a list of the screw-ups: 1. Gave a per head price quote based on an ESTIMATED number of people. Our final head count was 14 people less, they handed us an invoice for the ESTIMATED count. Mind you this was a head-count invoice, not fixed price. 2. We had 8 tables at our wedding, they showed up with service and tablecloths for 7 tables. We had to split up guests and squeeze them into other tables. So embarrassing. 3. Promised they would have a cheese plate for the bride/bridesmaids when they were getting ready, never happened. 4. Tasting had fish prepared one way, at the wedding, it was done differently and mine was raw and smelled funny. 5. IF THEY WANT TO GIVE YOU FREE FOIS GRAS, RUN! It was rancid. 6. Tasting had a great raspberry sause on the asparagus, there was no sause on my plate at the wedding. 7. Some guests reported waiting 20 min to get their food, we had 60 people at the wedding. I could have gotten BirdDog BBQ and saved thousands of dollars. I work in the service industry. If I treated my customers as these guys treated us, I would be out of business. They really added a ton of stress to a day that doesnt need more stress.

I used You and I caterers for our wedding. I was thrilled because they were willing to work with my budget, they were very warm, welcoming people, and their tastings were AWESOME...at the wedding, they brought white tablecloths instead of blue and didnt bring enough. Their servers were supposed to walk around with food but they hid in the kitchen instead. They said I had more than 100 guests when in reality I had 50-60 and not all were able to stay and eat. They were supposed to help cut the cake after we cut the first piece, but they waited for another fifteen minutes. Their fruit was also not as fresh as it was in the tasting. AFTER the wedding, my newly wed husband and I had to deal with the owners unlawfully charging more money than our contract had agreed to. Apparently one of our wedding guests said they could do that? REDICULOUS! Imagine dealing with THAT on your honeymoon. ha! If you go with this caterer, i suggest video-ing every session and conversation you have and making SEVERAL copies of the contract...AND making sure there is a ppl count at your event too. I will never recommend and tell everyone in the springs NOT to contact this caterer. The cover of the book was pretty, but the insides were just ROTTEN! Save your money for the good stuff

Fabulous Food, professional service staff. I only had a few months to plan my wedding, and of all of the preparations, my food had to have been the easiest. You and I Caterers was right there to make sure everything was taken care of. Nebas was willing to work with the short notice, and was extremely reasonable in his pricing. Not to mention the other connections they offered up to help us in the planning of our wedding. It was almost a "one stop shop" experience! When it came time for the reception, the food was laid out so beautifully, it was hot, delicious, and his service staff was on top of everything from the serving to the clearing of the plates. Then we cut the cake and within minutes, they had the rest of the cake cut and were already serving it to my guests. I have to say a great big THANKS to Nebas and the crew at You and I Caterers! You guys were AWESOME!!!

Right from the start, my husband, Jason and I had excellent service with You and I when trying to find a catering service for our wedding. We were always taken care of by the most polite people whether it was on the phone or in person. Upon trying the food we had selected for our wedding at a nice little dinner tasting that was arranged for two of my bridesmaids, my husband and I, we were hooked. The whole experience with You and I was so stress free. Not only did they provide food, punch, and appetizers, they also provided us with the linens, silverware, plates and glasses. The day of the wedding, my guests raved about how delicious the food was and how wonderful the service we received was. I would definitely recommend You and I Caterers for a stress free and delicious meal whether it be catering for a small event or for a wedding.
