HORRIBLE PLACE TO WORK. I was told to be here at 3 am my first day, the kitchen lead that day was supposed to be there at 3 as well to let everyone in. She wasnt there and never even called anyone to let them know. After an hour of waiting in the cold till 4 am on colfax the owner finally showed and let us in. The lead finally showed up after 6 am almost 3 hours late and they didnt even care. As soon as the owner left the lead then threw her hat off and it really grossed me out because her hair is more than 2 or 3 feet long :/ I was literally the only employee that went streight to the sink to wash hands and the whole day I never saw anyone else wash hands. Coming from 8 plus years as a serv safe certified cook this was really "off" to me. Food sits out in a bowl for 4 am till about 1 or 2 making kolaches with them and they are sitting that long at room temperature. This was a place where kids are allowed to run the adults and lets just say I never returned... After all of this I then receive an EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL HOSTILE text from the owner about respecting her "lead" who had me waiting my first day in the cold unsafe off of colfax ave. I was shocked because the owner seemed so nice at first and professional..big mistake. As a 30 year old with 2 kids and plenty of experience I am actually glad this didnt work out

I went in around 7:40 a.m. No wait. The teen working the counter was friendly, patient, and seemed knowledgeable about how things needed to go. He offered to warm my kolaches for me, and I heard him offer to the one customer ahead of me, so perhaps the issues with needing to ask for heated food mentioned in other reviews have begun to be addressed. Hard to say. Ive never had a kolache before, but considering that the price for a kolache is cheaper than the food at Ye Olde Coffee Franchise next door (which I do frequent and had a caramel macchiato from them with my kolaches), I decided Id give it a try. Tasty. The dough was sweeter than expected, but that ceased to bother me after the first couple bites. Not the best food I have ever had, but tastes more homemade than what Starbucks has to offer, and thats a plus.

Who doesnt love dumplings, no matter which culture theyre from? If you havent had these, theyre reminiscent of Chinese "sticky buns" / steamed buns. They fill them with all manner of goodness! From savory items like beef or ham and cheese or pizza fillings, to sweet items like fruit or chocolates. Theyre also very well priced ... somewhere between $2 and $3 per bun usually and you could make a good meal from two to four of them. The only down-sides are that the parking lot is a little difficult to navigate as its both tight and packed with Starbucks customers, and they also seem to be always out of a few of their items, so you either have to wait a while or choose items theyve got ready.

Very disappointed! This is not the Kolache we were familiar with on 1st & Wadsworth! I was in on June 22, 2017 and purchased over $80 worth of product for my office. Much to my surprise, the Sausage and the Sausage & Cheese Kolatches had what appeared to be a nothing more than a cheese filled HOT DOG in them!! I reached out to the restaurant but as of 7/3/2017, nobody has reached out to me to rectify the situation. I didnt want my money back but will never give them my business again! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SAVE A TON OF MONEY!! IF YOU PLAN ON GETTING THE SAUSAGE OR THE SAUSAGE & CHEESE, GET SOME PILLSBURY DOUGH AND SOME CHEESE FILLED HOT DOGS. SAME THING.

This was our first time going here, we actually dont live in Lakewood and drove here in hopes to receive the same experience we had when the one off of Wandsworth was open. We visited about 45 minutes before they closed- I wasnt surprised that they had run out of the majority of options and were down to only four. That is not a problem, I have taken on multiple food services positions in my life, so i get it. However the customer service was pretty poor. We instantly could feel that they were irritated that we walked in so soon to them closing. I can understand having a rough morning but you have to leave the frustration in the back.

This is good easy food and I really love coming here. However, I usually have to ask the staff to heat up my order twice, which is rather annoying. I would recommend putting a microwave or two out by the coffee station so folks can hear them to their preference. Today I had to interrupt two other orders, once to get these heated up a second time and another time because she apparently forgot that I was waiting for my food, which had cooled again. So let me heat it myself because it is starting to get old quick.

Easy to find and to see from the road. A small private parking lot. It is a bright and cheerful place. Visually pleasing. It was a little loud, as they had both the television and the radio on at the same time. It can be pretty busy during rush hour. I ordered a strawberry and an apple. I got a strawberry and a lemon. I had to ask for my receipt. It was a perfectly fine place. I didnt find either the place or the food to be spectacular in any way. But there was nothing really wrong with it.

What would I do without my Kolaches?! They are absolutely friendly and I have never been met without a smile and hello. I recommended them to my work for our meeting meals, and my co-workers have like wise fallen in love with their food. I remember for the Super Bowl they let their employees off early and I went in for a small breakfast, they ended us giving me three dozen for free so nothing went to waste and so their employees could go home. That is a peoples store.

I absolutely love this place. The customer service was impeccable. They took my order over the phone, created a custom order with lots of variety, and then when I picked it up they labeled them all outside and inside the box. I picked up a large order for a staff meeting, and everybody raved about the quality of the food. If you need something unique, or are looking for a new breakfast idea, this is a great place to check out!

I used to eat here at the old location of 6th and Wadsworth, and I can honestly say this is the best reopening ever. They make the best variety of dumpling type bread rolls stuffed with delicious savory or sweet filings. They were my go to quick breakfast stop for two years. Plus, now the new location has way more sitting room and new flavor options for great prices! Definitely check it out.

Good, fast and inexpensive. Sometimes its a great experience and sometimes the people behind the counter dont know what they are doing. We have had to ask more then once to have our food heated more than it was and then stand there waiting while the it loses heat because they forgot that they were supposed to give us our food. I guess thats what you get when kids are running the place.....
