My now husband and I got married in Lyons this past July. After doing a lot of researched we narrowed our caterer down to Relish and a few others. What made Relish stand out from the others was the pleasantness and responsiveness when communicating with them. This was particularly important for us because we were planning a distance wedding. Stephanie was great and handled all our questions and concerns quickly and in a very professional manner. She even handled my gluten free service ware panic immediately and with a very practical solution (this happened the day prior to the wedding). We had 115 people at our wedding and while we did have leftovers, we didn’t have buckets and buckets of them. She nailed the amount of food for our estimated guest list and was there personally to see everything set up. Relish provided bartenders whom were fun to chat with as you passed the bar area. Best of all? The food was DELICIOUS! And I know this even though brides rarely have a chance to eat on their wedding day because immediately after we entered the reception tent and were announced, they served myself and the groom a full plate of food, even before the rest of our guests had stood up to get in line for the buffet. We thought this was brilliant because it meant that while our guests were saying hi to each other and getting up to get their own food, we had a chance to actually eat before making the social rounds. I really enjoyed the materials they brought with them – coffee mugs and wine glasses. They were perhaps not the most expensive ones we could’ve had if we’d purchased them ourselves but they looked great (esp. the wine glasses). I’d highly recommend Relish for any catering situation and thank them for helping our wedding be a grand success.

Tegan and the Relish team were absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding. Tegan worked with us from the beginning to make the perfect menu and have it fit within our budget. She made sure to make it to all the meetings with the venue. If we ever had any questions she would respond within 24 hours, but it usually never took that long. Our venue required we used a specific linens company. Tegan was on top of getting everything we needed/wanted ordered from that company. It was nice not having to contact and line everything up with that company as well. The day of the wedding she and her crew were on top of getting everything out on time. Actually they were prepared to start dinner sooner than what was planned. With Tegan and the Venues help my husband and I were able to actually enjoy our dinner rather than not being able to eat like most brides and grooms. Plus they sent the remaining food home with us (well my family). I am very happy that we chose Relish Catering for my wedding day and will be recommending them to everyone I can!

I was a bridesmaid at my only brothers wedding at Hudson Gardens in July 2010. My brother told the caterer specifically that they could not put nuts in anything, because of allergies. After the wedding, before dinner, my brother told me "I told the caterers not to put nuts into anything, but someone told me they saw nuts in the salad so dont eat any salad" and I didnt. But there were nuts in something else (either the fish or raviolis or sauce), and alot of nuts too because if I eat a small amount I am just uncomfortable, but I went into full out anaphylaxis and couldnt breathe, and had to be rushed to the hospital and missed the entire reception- the cake cutting, the first dance, the bouquet toss, every special moment. No apology or any amount of compensation was provided to me or my brother as far as I know. I would say this caterer caused the wedding to be a nightmare for me, and definitely caused alot of unnecessary commotion and worry for the wedding party and many of the guests.

Almost a year ago I started planning my wedding and venue that we are having our wedding at required that we pick from their list of prefered of caters. So we started with the one that they recommmend. Bad idea, I really could of gone without the experience. The girl who we had our appointment was running late and so the owner I mind you started our appointment. From the beginning he was telling me "the bride to be" what I could and could not have on my buffet along with how he thinks my ceremony area should be set up which was not what I invisioned. He was haggling over price per plate with my father....the one who was paying for this event. I felt like we were working with a used car salesperson. The food was great but Im really glad that I choose Life Styles Catering for my wedding. My contact pays so much attention to what I want, and is making it happen. I will not recommend the food guy to anyone.

Relish was a highlight of our wedding planning process. We met with Stephanie about 7 months before our wedding- she was nice, extremely responsive over email, and gave us great catering recommendations. We did a taste test of their food before ever signing a contract, which I really appreciated. Their food is AMAZING. Stephanie kept in great touch with us all through the process…even responding to communications from my mom, my husbands mom and sister, etc. Every email and phone call was professional and helpful. The guests LOVED the food both at the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. I cant tell you how wonderful it was to have total confidence in Relish food and service the day of our wedding. The prices are extremely competitive and Stephanie was really helpful with keeping things within our budget. THANK YOU!!

Relish catered our wedding this summer in Pine, CO. From the beginning, our coordinator Stephanie was very helpful and motivated to make our wedding reception exactly what we had in mind. We were on a tight budget and Stephanie was very accommodating to small changes we could make that would make a big difference in cost. The Relish staff were on site hours before service began and stayed long after the party to clean up. It was so wonderful not to have to worry about a thing! Our only complaint is that what we tasted in our tasting did not exactly match what we ended up getting day-of. There wasn’t a lot different, but when you put so much time and money into planning the day, even a small change can be disappointing. Also, the staff was friendly but wore t-shirts, which we felt was not formal enough for a wedding.

We used The Food Guy to cater our wedding reception this past weekend. Not only was the food outstanding, but the catering staff was equally amazing and helpful. The suggestions we received from Brenda were perfect for our gathering (in-home wedding & reception). The crew arrived and gracefully melded into the kitchen, prepared food, served, assisted, and exited without a single snafu. Leftovers were packaged, labeled, stored, and the work space was cleaned spotless. I would recommend them hands-down with no qualification.

Rod and the Relish team were absolutely phenomenal! We had a high-end donor event hosted by one of our donors and Relish came up with a spectacular menu that absolutely blew our guests away. These are folks that are used to having the best, and every single item was a conversation around fabulous flavors, and beautiful presentation. And, the staff was phenomenal -- extremely professional, yet warmly personal. Everyone is raving about them now~!
