Consistency, professionalism and caring hearts! These girls really know hair! Curly hair, straight, long, short hair. Ive gone from mid length to long hair for donation and then short. I have experienced Maree, Jena, Cyntia, and Ciria. What I love about this place is consistency of the service. I know what expect each time. I also appreciate that girls know what I need and I can trust them to make the do that would get bunch of compliments and I didnt even think of it myself. They are very professional and caring. It is really nice to get a follow up call after appointment asking if Im happy with my hair. This is a very personal touch! I think it wonderful that girls have their specialties and that its easy to get an appointment. I love this place!

Jessica is really good at hair cuts but she ruined my hair color bu turning it into ginger when I asked to lighten the ends a bit. My natural hair color is dark brown. And the prices are ridiculous. We first asked for how much an ombré costs and it was 150 she made me pay 170 and plus tips is 180. Last time I got a hair cut but forgot to pay any tips so this time she didnt even ask if I wanted change or not and she added the tips to my total. And she took way too long like three hours when I had other places to go to at that day. I saw a lot of people going to Brittany so I would suggest u chose her but Ive never tried her before. GO FOR HAIRCUTS TO JESSICA NIT HAIR COLORING.

I recieved a real hair cut for the 1st time. I am a guy in my thirties who was used to just getting a cheap quick hair cut at the local chain. I got tired of always getting a botched job. I was walking down 6th ave. and just dropped into this place to see if I might get a cut? Luckily, the owner Maree Hammel, had an opening and immediately sat me down with a BEER! I was like what? She said yeah, were a little different here. How would you like your cut. . . For the 1st time in my life I didnt have to trim my own side burns when I got home. They really know hair and people at HairPeople!

I just moved here from Connecticut and needed a new stylist. I walked in and got an appointment for the next week with Brittany. I just recently realized I have curly hair and I wanted to learn how to style it. Brittany was so helpful and taught me how to use my DevaCurl products the correct way. She was able to match my roots and added a few highlights for an amazingly dramatic look. I cant tell you how much I love my hair. I am so happy I found my new hair salon! I love this place!

What can I say about Hair People? When I walk in the door, I am greeted by name by the staff. I am greeted by the warm ambiance and there is always good music playing. There are water, tea and coffee as well as snacks available. I love being shampooed! This is a treat for me and my neck and head are massaged then as well. And most of all, the haircuts are top grade at a reasonable price! What can I say about Hair People? I love the place.

Great salon! I just had my first appointment there with Brittany. I was nervous because I was going from blowing out my curly hair to styling it curly (after 10+ years). Both Maree and Brittany were very soothing. I left with a great new curly style, healthy looking hair and the guidance to believe I can do it myself at home. What a wonderful experience. Cynthia is the best! She brought my curls back to life after our first session. She is a color expert as well. I got a balayage/ombre from her, and I get a lot of compliments on it!! My twin sister loved it so much, she went to her stylist (I told her exactly what I told Cynthia/gave her the pics I showed), and hers did not come out anything like mine. Proof!
