I worked with Mic Ortega to purchase a condo in the Glass House. I highly recommend Mic as the go to real estate professional for the downtown Denver area. As a first time home buyer, I inundated Mic with endless questions about every detail of the home purchasing process, and he always responded promptly and effectively. I was most impressed by his knowledge of the local market, his prompt correspondence and his flexibility. As far as flexibility, several times when my schedule was incredibly hectic, he would arrange walkthroughs later in the evening; which made me feel as if I was his number one priority. As for his knowledge of the market, he impressed me with his familiarity with even the minute details of future city plans. His knowledge and experience helped me weigh options ranging from amenities to HOAs to zoning issues that could affect my purchase. Over the course of 2-3 months, he showed me 15-20 different condos; and while each building had its own nuances, Mic’s knowledge and experience in downtown Denver helped guide me to the perfect condo in the perfect location at my price point. As for his prompt correspondence, since I am typically busy at my job, I prefer email correspondence rather than phone, so that I can send and receive the messages on my personal time. Mic was very accommodating with my request, and he would respond to my emails promptly, often times later in the evening! Again, this made me feel as if I was his number one priority. One final comment about Mic has to do with his personality. Probably the thing I enjoyed most about working with Mic was that he was laid back. As you can glean from the description above, he was laid back, but at the same time, very attentive to my needs, proactive and helpful throughout my search. His laid back approach really put me at ease during the whole process, and I never felt rushed or pushed into anything I wasn’t ready for. I plan on recommending Mic to all of my friends who are looking for property in the Denver metro area.

We worked with Mic Ortega for a recent condo purchase in downtown Denver. He negotiated our price point well below the asking price, was great with guidance during our decision-process and walk-through, and could put difficult wording in our contract into language we could understand. We were first time home buyers, so this was invaluable. I think the quality of service was best represented when we had a dispute with the building at signing. Mic said he would talk to them about a price issue we uncovered, but recommended that we also contact the building. The representative at the building, unknowingly to Mic, forwarded us Mics email about the situation and then her response to him. Even though he didnt know wed be seeing his email, it was spot on and represented how we were feeling perfectly. Pretty impressive.

She grew to learn what was important to me and worked hard to steer me in the right direction. She educated me on neighborhoods, structure and finishes of homes, and overall real estate in urban Denver.
